Favorite skis of all time… whats yours?
2005/6 Seth Pistol and 2007/8 Seth Vicious. GOAT. So many amazing ski days on these. What are your favorites - for whatever reason?

After years of thinking about it, I finally got my first turntable set up this weekend. My wife surprised me with an Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB, which is running through a Denon AVR-S740H and a pair of Klipsch KG 3.5 speakers I’ve owned since the 1990s. I’m still the original owner of the speakers and they’ve been sitting in my living room all these years, but this is the first time I’ve used them for vinyl. Time to get a better/larger cabinet! (The vintage PS5 was ignominiously put on the floor)
About 25 hours into Elden Ring as my first ever Souls/DS-style game and I’m completely hooked.
I’m level 37, playing blind with no walkthroughs, and honestly I think that’s a huge part of the magic. I’ve done a little of Limgrave (spent way too much time fighting the partisan guy and his squad at Gatefront lol), but I’ve mostly been wandering all over the Weeping Peninsula exploring every nook and cranny.
This game feels unlike anything I’ve played before. The atmosphere, environmental storytelling, sense of discovery, random terror around every corner… it’s incredible. Sometimes I feel underpowered and completely lost, then suddenly I stumble into something beautiful or epic and it all clicks again.
Curious what other people’s “first it finally clicked” moments were with Elden Ring or Souls games in general. Also wondering: did you play blind your first run, or eventually cave and use guides?
Restaurant recently moved into an old unused bank building. Opted to restore the building, and kept the bank vault as an entrance/pass-through from the kitchen.
Thought you all would enjoy!
