I self-published after months of rejections

After sending off many, many rejected and unanswered letters to literary agents, I decided to self-publish my debut suspense novel. So far, I have no regrets.

I have no idea if the book will go anywhere, but it feels great to have it out there and get back to focusing on writing.

It’s a psychological suspense/thriller about someone who starts unraveling a local mystery, and ends up far deeper than they could’ve imagined. It’s set in the Pacific Northwest, where I’ve lived for almost my whole life. I used no AI to write or edit the book, and I designed the cover myself.

If you’re interested in checking it out, it’s called Through Inconvenient Action, and it’s on Kindle Unlimited. It’s also linked on my profile.

Thanks for reading!

My “friends and family” cover versus my self-published cover

After months of chasing literary agents, I decided to self-publish my debut suspense novel on Amazon. I changed the cover pretty drastically once I decided to self-publish, thought I’d share here and see if anyone else did something similar :)
