Heartwarming response 🥰 and you can come and play here!

First of all, thank you so much for the overwhelmingly positive response I got on my last post about my new Middle-Earth inspired gaming centre in Manchester/Stockport! I know I love what we’ve made but to have so many people leave super positive comments really made me feel like we’ve made something super cool!

We’ve now got our first event in the calendar on 26th July if any of you folk fancy coming to join us for 4 games (600 points) of Middle Earth fun! Tickets can be bought at www.goldenhallgaming.com.

It was totally unplanned and had no intention of opening during the week however due to overwhelming demand and a super positive response from the community we’re now going to be open on Thursday nights if you want to come along for a casual game. We have an abundance of fantasy themed terrain so it’s perfect for Middle Earth, Age of Sigmar, Old World etc.

Thank you again for the lovely words of support! 🥰

We held our first event at our brand new Middle Earth themed gaming centre!

On Saturday we were in the very privileged position to be able to run our very first event at our very own Middle Earth themed gaming centre called Golden Hall Gaming!

We invited a bunch of friends, family, local players, well wishers and hobby heroes from near and far to come and join us for a super casual 500 points tournament which went down a storm.

We’ll be hosting regular tournaments and would love to welcome players from near and far to come and play with us so if you’re in the North West/Manchester/Stockport area (or even further afield) we would LOVE to see you!

We’re on the usual social media sites if you want to keep up to date with what events we have going on 😊

How to stain this large area

Hey everyone, I’m after some advice on how to stain all of this wood as quickly as possible!

The walls are mostly rough sawn timber and some scaffolding board seconds. The table legs and surrounds are standard C16 and C24.

I want to stain it all ‘Dark Oak’ (I know there will be some variation depending on the wood etc) but would rather not do it all by hand if I can avoid it because there’s an awful lot of it (there’s also a bar that’s not pictured).

Would you recommend a cheap-ish sprayer (looking at the Erbauer EPS800). Would this save me time or am I just going to have to bite the bullet and do it all by hand?

Any advice would be appreciated!
