I'VE FINALLY 100% METAL GEAR RISING AFTER ALMOST A YEAR

I'm really happy right now. I've started this journey on August 3rd of last year, and it has finally come to a close. The struggle of no-hitting every boss on Hard difficulty or higher. The struggle of beating the whole game in Revengeance with all S ranks. The struggle of getting gold in every VR mission...it's all finally over. I can put it all aside and focus on the rest of the Metal Gear Solid games (or maybe i'll look into another game franchise)

Either way, i've got my own war to fight...

I'm wondering something (MGS4 spoilers)

If you've beat MGS4 by now, you know that Drebin injected Snake with a new FOXDIE set to kill Big Mama, Ocelot and Big Boss. The FOXDIE works as intented as the 3 of them are killed because of it, but here's my question.

Why didn't Ocelot die from FOXIE in Act 3 when he fought Snake? Both Big Mama and Big Boss died from FOXDIE when they met up with Snake, but Ocelot survived 2 encounters in Act 1 and Act 3 and ONLY died after the final fight in Act 5.
