Unexpected shiny here. Obviously was hunting it but I had a random urge to do some more resets for this before I dive full into safari and got it. I'll be using this and keeping it as a Dewott for the full playthrough of my shiny memory link white 2 run. Eventually it will end up in legends arceus so I can have a shiny hisuian samurott from gen 5!

Our fridge finally took a crap on the hottest week of the year, so the Yetis came in clutch this week while we wait fir the new fridge delivery!

Wanted to do some safari pre-game to test out my set up and how well my hunts would flow together, and we caught our first safari of the summer, Tropius! This was my 3rd phase going for Tropius dating back to last years safari week. Absolutely thrilled about this. 1 ball, no drama. Tropius is 20% during the morning/day in platinum only and has a surprisingly easy catch rate.

First phase in the bug catching contest is arguably the coolest one available, a Pinsir with the best possible nature on top of it. I've wanted to hunt in the bug catching contest for a while and found a sweet spot before safari week after finishing my last hunt for Treecko. Love the obscurity of the sport ball for it. What a cool shiny to find!

Super cool shiny treecko from steven stone in soul silver! A neat hunt in the very very late game in HG/SS. I had this set up on 2 system, and plan to use it on a future shiny playthrough in platinum as my starter!

Finally able to utilize the Ranger Spacesuit at great expense. Always loved the Ranger stuff!
