Steeple Cam

For some reason, this popped up on my YouTube feed. First Methodist in Waco has a 24/7 camera on their steeple. Kinda cool. Here's the link: Steeple Cam

Marina on Lake Waco

On a map, it looks like there's a marina on Lake Waco near Ridgewood Country Club and The Delaney. Is this public? I'm looking for a place for my boat and the location would be perfect.

Thanks your your help!

Post-op Question

Strange question here!

This week I'm scheduled for the exploratory type of parathyroid removal. Here's my strange question: I'm a man whose neck whiskers grow pretty quickly. How will this affect the incision point(s) and my recovery?

I tend to overthink situations, so pardon my silly question!

Achievements link is gone

A few days ago, my achievements link disappeared. I’m watching my streak get really close to 800 straight days and I’d like to follow it.

Am I overlooking someone? Thank you!

Finally Some Answers…I Hope?

I’m a 59M with blood calcium levels ranging from 10.4 to 10.8 for the last several months. Nuclear image showed nothing abnormal with my parathyroids. However, bloodwork this week showed my PTH level at 220 with Calcium level at 10.4.

I just hope the good doc can figure out why my calcium levels have been high. I’m so done with lethargy, brain fog, depression, and insomnia.

Reddit isn’t the best place for medical advice, but I’m trying to get as much input as possible. Thoughts?

Thanks.

Providence Hospital

What’s going on at Providence? Other than the Young Tower, the place looks like it’s falling apart. One elevator has been broken for over a year, another one for a couple of weeks now. The place looks like it needs a serious refresh, especially the area with the doctors’ offices.

I’ve always had great care there, but I’m starting to have second thoughts if I have a medical issue in the future.

I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard that several doctors have left for the new hospital in Gatesville.

I could be way off here, but it appears that Ascension Health needs to show our hospital some TLC! Am I way off here?
