What would you like to see, and what are you expecting in the next era of the show?

Keeping in mind, that the BBC are struggling with independent finance, having to find outside funding, explaining the tender process, not being able to make it in house, alongside whether or not the BBC are curious to see the same things we might; maybe they want to revel in the past and chase trends.

This can obviously impact a lot, from episode count, to sets, CGI and how ambitious they could be. It could be the show at its most tight, at least since 2005.

So yeah, in general, what would you like to see, that you think would massively benefit the show, and what are you expecting to see, that may be a natural consequence of the economic and creative position of the show and those running it?

What are some modern books, with an old fashioned or flowery prose?

What are some modern books, that have very flowery prose, or prose that is evocative of older styles?

By "modern" I mean the 21st century, especially from the 2020s.

When I mean old fashioned, I mean stuff like prose from the Victorian era, or the early to mid 20th century, and by flowery, I mean something like a Nabokov.

I am only aware of Susanna Clarkes works, but I was curious what else there is?

I don't mind if it is genre fiction, but if it Literary Fiction, even better.

Terrified I will go blind

I looked at the eclipse for about 10 minutes of total minutes, across 45-60 minutes that I was outside; I was wearing sunglasses, and didn't realise they do nothing to help.

I have no blurriness or shapes, maybe a slight burning and I keep itching it because I got hair in by accident.

My friend say I will likely go blind, and I think in 6 hours, when I eventually wake up, I will start losing my vision.

I am a stupid idiot.

What should I do?

Incredible interview, with very insightful questions, that leads to some great discussions.

These type of conversations feel too rare, and I like how these are engaged with in a very civil manner.

Massive credit to Zhong Shu for the interview; hope she does more, she's excellent.
