Bad feeder spot?
We moved about a month ago and I haven’t seen a single bird visit this feeder. I know it takes a little while for them to find it, but wondering if the location might have something to do with it?
Any help is appreciated.
i wonder what experience Musk had before he used DOGE to defraud America
Best feeling in the world
This is our little community swimming pool that I took over before in spring of last year. I did it as a duty, but it’s become the biggest joy of my life at the moment.
To bring the pool in the beginning of the summer from an unswimmable swamp to crystal clear with all levels optimal is a feeling that’s hard to describe; because when you try it sounds so boring! lol
But to see my 8-year-old son swimming in it while I know there’s not too much chlorine and the pH is perfect is just so darn satisfying, that’s about all I can say.
Happy 4th to all you pool caretakers and pool lovers! I wish you all a balanced pH and optimal alkalinity!
Everyone should tip for full-service gas!
I get that tipping culture is out of control, and too many workers are asking for tips.
But if you choose to have someone pump your gas, I think just handing them $1 when they hand your card back to you is a tiny gesture that means a lot to those working.
$1 is worth about what 25 cents was worth a decade ago, and would you really balk at a quarter? It’s such a small amount but if we all did it it would make that job much better for the people who have to stand outside all day dealing with annoying humans for hours.
If you pump your own gas, obviously nobody gets tipped, but I think so many more people should be tipping for this service when you let the attendant do it.
