Looking for Rock Bars Brasov & Bucharest

Hi guys! I am visiting soon from the UK and was hoping to find some good rock/punk/metal bars in both Brasov and Bucharest. If any one knows any please give me the names!

I am very excited to visit such a beautiful country 💖

Salutare!

What counts as a trial shift?

Hi all.

My niece (16) and 2 other girls around the same age were offered a trial shift at a local hairdresser.

All 3 were there for 8 hours with one 30 min break, they mixed dye, put toner on customers, swept up and made brews. They did a lot of work in those 8 hours.

None of them were offered any compensation.

As far as I am aware, no contract was signed and the only actual agreement was a text asking my niece if she would like to do the trail shift.

No mention of compensation either, but after 8 hours on a Saturday, you'd expect some form of payment.

As far as I am aware, they weren't really watching their skills more just putting them to work.

It seems like these guys were just looking for some free help from a bunch of children on a busy day.

I am 90% sure this is illegal and I am going to speak to a hairdresser and ask her if we can expect payment of minimum wage.

I just wanted to double check before I do anything, is there anything that can backfire onto us? Thank you!

It feels like I lost my baby

I know it's probably not the same as losing a baby, but my cockatiel Elio died a couple weeks ago. I still don't believe it even though I know it's true. He was only 6 and cockatiels can live up to 25 years so it's been really rough. He got very sick, I took him to the vets a while back and they said he was okay. But then he got worse and I lost him quickly. I've gone through so many emotions these last 2 weeks but the guilt sticks with me a lot.

I did all my research before getting a bird, I made sure everything was bird safe, I protected him with my entire life. I was all he had so I had to make sure I was doing my best, and I did. Sometimes they just get sick and nothing could have been done. We can love and provide a pet with the best care and they can still just not make it.

My whole life revolved around him and to not have him anymore, it's the worst pain I have ever felt. We were just a duo. I felt like I could cope in this world because I had his unconditional love waiting for me when I got home. I know his love is still with me and it doesn't leave just because he isn't here to tell me, but he told me everyday for the last 6 years.

I just wanted to share with others who understand. Our pets aren't here anymore, but the love they have for us lives on.

(Elio, my little stinker, I love you and you're the best boy!)

hi, I am going to restart my sobriety tomorrow. I got 2 months sober last year and then relapsed pretty bad. I am drinking right now so it will have to wait till tomorrow, plus that's when the next meeting is. I know what I need to do differently, I would just really like some support to let me know it's okay. It's a little more difficult considering I don't believe in God and a lot of people at my meetings are religious. I would love a sponsor who wasn't but I will take anyone willing to help.

Hi, my next door neighbours have been having fires in their fire pit every night. My house is a council house but they own theirs. It's been almost every night this week and the smell of the smoke is getting into all the rooms in my house. I have a bird and it's not good for him at all.

Is there anything I can do??

Can someone please explain what this means? I am supposed to start on the 11th, the pay date is the 22nd. Will I get any money this month? Thank you.
