$200 small bird watercolors

If you like small, affordable art then you will love the 34th Annual International Miniature Art show! 300+ small works from 100+ artists around the globe. I am honored to be in Parklane Gallery the whole month of July as part of this exhibition.

I am selling my seven Small Birds of the World for $200 each. Each original watercolor is painted with premium lightfast paints on archival 100% cotton paper and triple varnished. Each artwork is ready to hang in a 5x7 frame with custom double mat. The back is finished with a dust cover and a pocket with the Certificate of Authenticity and care guide.

These can only be purchased directly through the gallery during this event. The following link is sorted by price in descending order and I am near the top because I am on the low end of the price range in this event: https://parklanegallery.org/featured/?shopOrder=price

The gallery gets a lot of foot traffic in July (tourist season!), so if something catches your eye, don't delay. The exhibition has been open for exactly one day and there's already more than a dozen pieces sold.

These are miniatures so pay close attention to the size details when you click on an individual piece so you understand what you are buying. For example, my birds are in 5x7 frame but the art itself is incredibly tiny (2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and yes the details were tricky but worth it ha ha).

1st time in a gallery!

I am SO EXCITED to be in a gallery exhibition for the first time!! 🙌🏻🎉✨

I first tried watercolor as a new medium in January 2026 and it's safe to say I am fully obsessed now ha ha ha. 😂 I am in Parklane Gallery the whole month of July as part of an exhibition of small art! You can see the whole exhibition online (and buy any of the art). If you like small, affordable art then you will love the 34th Annual International Miniature Art show! 300+ small works from 100+ artists around the globe! https://parklanegallery.org/featured/?shopOrder=price

Seeing all the other art makes me realize I am massively outclassed here 😬 Idk how I snuck in to this prestigious show but I'm gonna relish it 😅 My art is tiny (2.5" x 3.5") so yes the details were tedious haha but totally worth it. Framed in 5x7 frames with double mats

limit quantity?

UPDATE: I just had a delightful conversation with Sophia at eBay and she helped me out so much. It turns out I can't restrict a certain number of quantity is per person or per order that is not possible, however she helped me solve the problem in another way by showing me how I can modify the weight and generate more than one shipping label for more than one package with unique tracking numbers so I am able to divide the order into two packages which brings the weight below the threshold and restores my profit margin for this item. I offer free shipping so if the shipping is unexpectedly high it can wipe out my profits, but dividing the order solve the problem and I learned something new today!

Question has been answered (see update above): hi I am wondering if there is a way to restrict a certain number of quantities per customer so that one person doesn't wipe out my entire inventory? I can't just artificially reduce the entire inventory because then other customers won't be able to purchase as well, I just want to limit it per customer or per order

any way to divide an order to get separate labels?

UPDATE: I just spoke to eBay on the phone and they answered my question: it is not possible to limit quantities on an item per transaction or per order or per customer. However, they helped me solve my shipping issue by teaching me how to purchase a second shipping label with unique tracking number so that I could divide the weight of the order between two packages to stay in the shipping tier where I can make profit. So all my questions are answered and the problem is solved!

THANK YOU to everyone who kindly took to time to reply to a new seller 🙏🏻

Questions answered/problem solved (see update above). Original post below:

I offer an add-on product in my store that's designed to go with my primary product and I expected people to just add one add-on per order but somebody ordered my entire inventory. Which messed up my pricing model because normally I could do it in an eBay standard envelope for $.74 or $1.03 but shipping my entire supply bumps it up above 3 ounces and I'm gonna have to pay six dollars in shipping and I'm gonna lose money with this order. Now I can divide it between two flexible mailers for $1.03 each which would be a total of $2.06 shipping so that would be helpful but the problem is because this person ordered all six and one order eBay only wants to sell me one label.

QUESTION: can I use the "get another copy of a label" to create two labels to ship this into packages to keep the weight under 2 ounces per package? I don't imagine that would work because I would only be paying for once so after it scanned the first time I think the second package wouldn't travel.

QUESTION: is there any way to divide this into two separate orders? Then I could buy two separate shipping labels?

QUESTION: If I can only get one shipping label for eBay can I get a shipping label from someone else or somewhere else for the second package? I guess maybe through hostel service? It wouldn't have tracking your insurance but at least it wouldn't destroy my profit.

LAST QUESTION: How can I prevent this from happening again? How do I limit to three items per transaction/order but still maintain a quantity of 18 total? I don't mind if one person buys all 18 just as long as each set of three is in its own order for postage reasons

need advice

Where can I post my ACEOs so collectors can find them? I am suppressed or shadow banned or something here in r/ACEO sub. Everything I post here gets exactly 0 votes or comments (besides the one automated upvote by the system). I can post the same thing anywhere else and get engagement but here I am invisible. After months of trying to fix it to troubleshoot the situation, I need to give up and find somewhere else to post. But I can't find any other subreddits about posting ACEOs for sale. Where can I post so collectors can find me? Thank you for any advice or tips 🙏🏻

Feeling discouraged

This is been a rough week for my art business with a lot of setbacks and disappointment and lack of sales and wasted effort and all kinds of struggles. I think because art is such a personal endeavor that lack of sales feels like rejection. it hurts. What makes it worse is that I've been open and vulnerable on social media (I struggle with chronic illness and disability) and it hurts that the series that were inspired by the biggest milestones that were the most deeply personal the ones that I was most open and vulnerable about on social media...are the ones that sold the worst.

The conventional wisdom is to "share the story behind the art and personal things about you as an artist because people buy art based on emotion and if they connect with the artist they will connect with the art" etc. etc. but I haven't seen that translate into sales for me. I've sold work sure, but not the deeply personal work. So I'm beginning to think that oft repeated advice is a load of crap.

i'm just feeling really down and definitely want to go back and be less open online. Maybe someday I will have the luxury financially of creating art that's meaningful to me but unsellable. But at the moment, I have bills to pay so I just need to figure out what people want and make that I guess. Although this week I dropped a series that I was so sure other people were gonna want. But it did not sell well. So yeah, honestly I just don't know what to do.

What do you think? Better to not be vulnerable online?

Landscape orientation

I made art cards in landscape orientation before I realized that no one wants to collect them. So now I have all of these art cards that I worked hard on and some of them are really nice but I don't know if anyone will want them. Which is fair — I get why collectors prefer portrait orientation: it fits better into a binder. So I get it, and if no one wants to trade landscape that's OK. But if anyone is interested, I have a huge selection. Seems a shame to throw 30-35 pieces of art in the garbage so please let me know if you are open to a trade where you would receive a landscape orientation artwork.

Real Gems! My Most Unique Limited Series

I had so much fun painting this series! I may have gone crazy with the glimmer and shimmer and duochrome shifting pigment paint and real crushed gemstones and real semi-precious minerals and then highlighted with liquid metallics! Are they over-the-top blinged out jewel-encrusted hummingbirds? Yes, yes they are. 😂 But is there really a such thing as "too much bling"? I don't think so 😅 Even the flowers and the background have shimmer! I doubt I'll ever paint a series like this again, but I had an acute attack of the sparkles and I feel so much better after painting this iridescent series! ✨

Artists supporting artists!

Hello friends! Myself and others have been puzzled why some posts here pop off with huge amount of upvotes while others languish without a single upvote. It is because the default view for forums like this is "Best" not "New" so unless you explicitly change your view, you're not really seeing what's here. You're just reinforcing an artificial bubble. Post that start to get upvotes get surfaced, and that causes them to get more upvotes, which caused them to get surface higher, which causes them to get more upvotes… And so on. Kind of a "snake eating its own tail" artificial reinforcing loop.

There is a lot of great art and a lot of great artists on here, wouldn't you like to discover new amazing art? Wouldn't you like to support fellow artists? If that is you, then there is a simple solution: click the down arrow at the top of this forum and change your default view from "best" or "hot" etc. to "new." Then, you will be seeing REALITY, not an artificial loop. There's enough artificial algorithm-driven crap in our lives already. We deserve at least one place where we can see reality as it actually is. I switched my view and I hope you will join me! Let's unhide each other, and upvote each other, and support each other! Helping others succeed never diminishes our own success 💕

Selling out fast 🫪

Edit: NO ONE CAN SEE MY POSTS 😱 If anyone can see this, please reply just so I can determine once and for all if my ACEO posts are even visible here. Thank you.
My retro-humor Cats vs. Hoomans meme cats series is selling out as soon as each one lists. 😮 Last two scheduled to drop soon at 6:30pm and 6:40pm PST so I might still be able to get one. I am already planning a part the series. And I relisted my woodpecker, by request. Happy bidding! eBay.com/usr/BettyGraceStudio

Question for ACEO Collectors

  1. Do you exist? 😅 Or is it just us artists advertising to each other? 😂

  2. do Reddit Threads function with an algorithm that promotes some posts and demotes others? or even hides posts? (Reddit noob here 😅)

  3. If you are an artist, do you promote your post? Is that why some posts have a huge number of upvotes? Is Reddit hiding my posts holding them hostage until I pay ransom? 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm asking these questions because I feel very invisible in this forum. Everything I post only gets 1 upvote (which is an automated thing not a real person) and no comments and I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong that is causing my post to be hidden or suppressed. (If that's not it then maybe I need to not waste time posting here because clearly y'all hate my art 😂)
