I recently completed my Summer Monsoon rule set. Made to make the GM’s prep job as easy as possible, this GM reference sheet joins the others: infrastructure failures and fires.

i’ve been a GM for about 5 years now, and I always remind myself that odds players can’t beat make the story feel alive. I wanted to share some rules (that weren’t as flushed out then, i’ll admit), revamped.

Infrastructure failures and Fires did so well, I was inspired to continue making environmental hazards/effects that can boost encounters. I love to put my party up against the elements, something they can’t just beat, but must overcome. It makes the world feel so much more alive.

What other reference sheets should come next?

I’ve been making d&d content for awhile now, but i struggle the most with stat blocks. I fail to realize what information is important to include in the info sections, and I don’t have a great sense of CR when i’m not following the guidelines in the DMG. I think overall it’s my weakest skill when it comes to my writing. 😅

That being said i’m proud of this stat block, but i know it still needs some work.

Any advice or suggestions to change? Constructive criticism welcome 🙏

I had this idea in my head when I helped a player conceptualize their paladin. They wanted to protect those that can’t protect themselves, including kids, animals, the elderly, and more. Such a sweet item <3
