Is my SAP salary too high for my experience?

An IT consulting director told me that my salary is high compared with my experience. I have around 5.5 years of SAP experience and earn around 21 LPA. Should I be concerned about being overpaid for my experience? How to handle this if I want to switch desperately!

Ghosting after interviews is this really professional or unprofessional?

So i cleared the first round and for the second round this company called me for a F2F interview. I took a day off from my office. Went all the way from Andheri to Panvel. The project manager told me your interview went really well & asked when you can join your CTC blah blah & after that HR escorted me outside his cabin & told us we will give you the feedback.

It's been a week & they didn't respond nor are they returning my calls.

Is ghosting a new normal & is it expected from candidates to understand the answer or a extension to corporate slavery?

  1. failing in interviews because no skill development happened/ no knowledge gained

  2. monotonous job of testing & support only

  3. feel sidelined from project development, workshops /only testing is assigned.

  4. Sitting idle in the office most of the time

  5. The manager does not assign new tasks.

Is my application rejected because of Notice period?

Recently I have been interviewed. I had specifically mentioned on my naukri that I have a notice period of one month & mentioned during the recruiter call. During the time of the interview, I told the interviewer that my notice period is one month (as I work in a mid size consultancy firm) then he asked me isn't it 90 days? Then I told him the truth that I'm on the bench right now, and my colleagues at different other locations were released as no new project is coming in. so I can join within a month & my manager will release me too like my other colleagues. So i am affirmative that I can join. Then he said ok. Are you serving? I told No.

Then the next day the recruiter called me & told me why you said No when asked if you are serving a notice period? Idk what did I do wrong? Is my application rejected?

What to do for 90 days NP, without any buyout option or early release in current company?

I am desperately looking for a job change. I have upskilled myself even by online training & courses etc just with a hope that I could land on my dream job

But the recruiter only entertain immediate joiners.

& i think putting down my papers & switching to serving notice period is risky.

It's really frustrating.

What to do?.I am not getting calls because of this problem

How to deal with parents & spouse in an arranged marriage?

Hi, I am 36 M married. We are expecting our first child. Now my wife is very controlling. She does not respect anyone. She not only ignores me,but she wants everything to be done according to her. If my mom calls her she talks rudely. She spends her day watching & making reels .always on mobile.

but when my mom calls her she cuts , then when I push her to call back she calls and then within 2,3 min she makes excuses to ignore her and cut the call. Like I'm calling her.Or am I asking for tea etc.etc.

I am on the verge of loosing my Job, yet she doesn't support. All she wants is just to fulfill all her wishes.i told her to stay with my parents for a while because I would be busy in my job and they will look after you and I will be there by your due date. She gets annoyed. My father is a heart patient. Never ever she asked how he was ! This time I had my father admitted for 2 days due to this, after he got discharged, but he is under watch.

Also i noticed, when she speaks with her parents she is fine, but neglects my parents.

Now, when I turn to my parents that she is by nature like this, and gets annoyed so you all adjust ,then I get a backlash from them. They get very emotional.they cry on the phone that my son changed. Theybask me will you stop talking to her parents too, if she wants you to talk. If she doesn't give respect to your parents, will you also do the same with her parents? I go quiet then

If I try explaining to them politely that this is how it is everywhere now, i don't see any women wanting adjust with in laws today

they bring back their era and how they respect elders. How they respected my grand pa & grand na.

To sum up, they feel neglected & ignored I get that. But I'm stuck between the 2. Not getting how to get out of this? 🤧
