Is there any styles that would even approach looking like Marcel’s Cloak?
static.wikia.nocookie.netUpdate on the “Buzz”
Unboxed and Echelon Science Spearhead ship and the Echelon material works great.
NCC 1328 USS Aldrin “The Buzz”
The NCC-1328-A. U.S.S. Aldrin, or the “Buzz” as it’s known throughout its crew. Flown by Captain Ruga, leader of the red shirts: a suicide squad stylized outfit known for handling the worst of the worst missions and surprisingly, succeeding and surviving.
My god I love the various Gagarin alts. It’s beginning to rival the Miranda supremacy. Couple that with making an RP homage to the five part Red Shirt series and it’s just great.
Has Anyone Tried to Recreate Amar Noonian Singh?
I’ll probably mess around with it and make a new kdf sci character when I get the K’Virt but just wondering if anyone has had success in character creator
Devs, if you read Reddit, why is it so hard to give new consoles and abilities their auto-execute on Console?
Just got the new Kelvin stuff tonight. Mostly, I love it, but once again there are no triggers for the new stuff
I guess it’s just more trash then. The devs must either think that it’s good for us to trash the consoles or they have never played the PlayStation or Xbox version. They have never experienced the sheer joy of in the middle of riveting combat clicking into a spiral menu that changes for every single ship and slowly selecting the option you want
It’s beyond stupid and kind of insulting that they either don’t give us the ability to customize our own menus completely free style or just do their job and add an auto execute for their new stuff that costs close to $100.
What do people do with their collections as they become too much and as they age?
It’s something that’s been on my mind: I really like the joy of reading floppies. I also wonder how people have dealt with having a large amount of them long term?
I Don’t Think Being Pro or Anti is bad. I think the way our internet brains are wired to push our agendas is
So, out of the gate: I think there’s validity to both positions.
AI can be useful and people shouldn’t be shamed for using it or getting some joy out of the collaborative creation process.
I think there’s valid concerns about job loss, about how data centers can effect local communities, and ultimately about holding ai and the companies that develop it accountable (god help us when it enters the battlefield)
Those points aside, the real issue for me is more about how we handle it and have dialogue surrounding it and ultimately manage to affect any change if it’s possible
There’s a certain internet mentality of that goes into this all or nothing rabbit hole where the people that you disagree with are now automatically bad and deserve abuse. I’m sure we can find examples from both pros and antis engaging in this behavior. I’m sure I can find examples of myself engaging in this behavior
But it’s so useless, unless you just want to bully the heck out of other people and pat yourself on the back for your moral justification. It doesn’t make anyone want to buy into your way of thinking. If anything, it tends to irritate the crap out of people until a subset inevitably will go all in on the opposite direction. You can find this effect on everything ranging from social to political to economic causes.
There was a time frame when we were making considerable progress on technological, sociological and ethical fronts. It was working great until somewhere, the internet brain thing took over and we forgot how to talk to people. How to understand basic nuance in our arguments. How to understand that the person across from you may vehemently disagree in this one topic but otherwise be a brilliant soul and conversely that the people you agree with not all be saints by any stretch
AI, pro or anti, is just the cause du jour. none of this will change until people start realizing that this style of activism does nothing other than isolate groups of people and typically turns the very issue that activists are so pronounced about into a losing battle versus a productive dialogue that can institute some degree of meaningful change
Antis on Reddit. They don’t actually care. They just want to bully people
I’m running a hard light character, want it to be casual for the recruitment, but I notice that I’m not performing as well as I did with my Rage or Water based characters. Any tips on how to optimize?
