Unexplained mid cycle bleeding

I’m 36 F, was on birth control from ages 17-30, always had regular cycles typically 29 ish days long.

In August I lost someone very close to me, and shortly after started a period that lasted about 3 months. At the time I put it down to grief and stress, but I saw a doctor anyway. I was sent for a pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound and both came back clear.

Around January ish my period seemed to go back to normal so I forgot about it and just decided it was stress. However, in March, I started bleeding midway through my cycle. This also happened in April & May, and the last month especially I’d say I’m spotting (normally pinkish brown but sometimes red) nearly every day.

Went back to Dr, got sent for blood tests and everything came back normal: thyroid, liver, kidneys all good; no STDs, FSH level normal etc.

The only abnormal result was my LH, which was very elevated. Apparently this is normal when you’re ovulating (?), which I would’ve been during my normal cycle, but because I’m bleeding every day I have no idea what cycle day I’m on anymore.

I have no other symptoms of PCOS or endo that I know of and I’m at a complete loss. I’m particularly worried because my husband & I were trying for a baby, but I have no idea how to do that or track anything when I don’t know what my body’s doing.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a test I should be asking for?

Ideas for decorating a powder room?

We have this fugly small downstairs bathroom that is finally getting a makeover! I’ve already decided on the paint colour (dark blue) and fixtures (antique brass) but need some help figuring out how to decorate/style it!

I’m particularly unsure about that blank wall (which again remember will be painted dark blue along with the radiator). Also obv gonna get a mirror for above the sink.

* Do I put up shelves (there’s a ledge behind the toilet so not sure if I need them)?
* Two big prints?
* A galley wall?

Do I need an under sink cabinet or would it look OK without? The one in the pics is an old one that I’m getting rid of and not sure if I wanna replace? I don’t really need to store anything besides toilet paper so I was gonna get a nice basket for that.

Candles? Plants? A little rug? All ideas welcome 🙏🏻

Unexplained bleeding but all tests normal?

I’m 36 F and have had regular menstrual cycles since puberty. Was on the pill from ages 17-30, no issues coming off.

A few months ago, I lost someone close to me and shortly after (maybe a month later?) I started a period that lasted 3 months. At the time I assumed it was grief/stress but went to see the Dr anyway. Had a pelvic ultrasound and a transvaginal one (the internal one) and everything was normal aside from a Bartholin’s cyst apparently but I’ve had no pain or anything.

Anyway around January my period seemed to go back to normal.

Then in March I started having mid cycle bleeding and it’s happened in April and May too. There seems to be more days than not where I have light pink/brown discharge, or actual blood like the start of a period.

I went back to dr and had blood tests and again everything came back normal: thyroid, liver, FSH, my LH level was elevated (30+) which is apparently normal in your later cycle?

I have no other symptoms of PCOS, endo, etc.

I’m losing my mind, especially because my husband and I were planning on tryin for a baby and now I have zero idea where I even am in my cycle :(

Has this happened to anyone else?

Warm toned blues/greens for a north facing room?

Hi! We’re repainting our living room which is north facing, so tends to get less/cooler light throughout the day.

I’ve been told we need to use warm toned paints to counteract this, and all I keep seeing recommended is warm neutrals and pinky based colours. We’d really love to find a blue or green paint colour that has a warm undertone but it’s been a challenge.

Can anyone recommend a paint shade from brands available in the UK, like Lick, Coat, Little Greene, etc?

Thank you!! 🙏🏻

I’d like to repaint my downstairs powder room and would love some paint suggestions!

It’s a small, north facing room so I’d really like to lean into the deep moody vibe. Half of the wall and the floor is tiled (photo attached).

The tile is sort of a greige, cool toned mushroomy color (I think).

Any suggestions for moody paint colors with an…I guess cool?… undertone (to match the tile) in any of the following brands would be amazing, thank you!

Valspar, Little Greene, Lick, Farrow & Ball, Dulux
