Hot Air Balloon
As a child I remember seeing the occasional hot air balloon floating about. Also watching them prep and take off from Rondebosch Common. What happened? Did this just fade from popularity?

Why would you buy a sjambok?
I've seen guy selling sjamboks at robots and all over. Serious question. Why? Why would you buy one? It can't be a useful defense weapon. Give me a reason why some people would own one?

Checkers - Help Flood Victims

Schools Closed
I know that I finished school several years ago, but I don't remember them ever closing for the weather. Maybe I'm wrong. Have the storms gotten worse or are kids having it soft?
