What brand Velcro for One-Wrap

I'd like to buy a large roll of double-sided 1" velcro instead of buying expensive pr-cut strips. Are there any brands that are recommended or brands that I should stay away from? If you've taken this approach, what product did you buy? Are you happy with the results?

HSGI Taco- "Gen 1" Double Pouch or 2X "Gen 2" Single Mag pouch?

I'm building a battle belt for a Springfield Kuna PCC and a handgun. There aren't many options for mag pouches that fit Kuna mags but lots of folks seem to like the HSGI Taco so that's what I'm getting. HSGI currently offers both their gen 1 mag pouches and gen 2 mag pouches.

The Gen 1 series has both single mag pouches and double mag pouches for tall pistol mags.

The Gen 2 series only offers single mag pouches for tall pistol mags.

My options are essentially a 1X "Gen 1" double mag pouches or 2X "Gen 2" single mag pouches. I will be attaching the pouches to an Esstac battle belt using One-Wrap velcro strips.

This is my first battle belt and I don't have much background knowledge so I wanted to see if there are any serious disadvantages to getting 2X single mag pouches. I imagine that the double mag pouches would be more stable, but I don't know whether or not single pouches would be unstable. I'd really prefer to go with 2X "Gen 2" single mag pouches but I wanted to get some input before taking the leap.

Talyor +7 base plate too large for P-10 C CCW spare mag?

I carry a P-10 C in a sidecar holster and I'd like to get an extended base plate for my spare mag. I'm trying to decide between the Taylor Freelance + 7 base pad or the Shield Arms +5 base pad. More rounds is better, but I imagine that +7 is going to be huge. Would this be too large to comfortably carry while minimizing printing? Having no experience with either product, I'm leaning toward the Shield Arms +5 base pad but I'm not sure if I'm over thinking it.

Recommend options for 20+rd P-10 C magazines (or extended baseplates)

My P-10 C wants me to buy it some extended magazines for training. Either complete 20+ round magazines, or baseplates/kits that will allow me to convert my existing 15 round magazines. What would yall recommend? Performance/reliability is important to me, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love the look of a big long boxy extended baseplate. I see that Promag makes some long magazines, but I'd also need to buy a sleeve for them which would further increase the price. All that being said, reliability is more important to me than cost or aesthetics. What products should I be looking into?

P-10 C Holsters Comparable to Tenicor?

I've heard plenty of chatter on the internet about the P-10 C fitting in Glock 19 holsters. I picked up a Tenicor Velo Lux for th G19 and I'm just not crazy about the fit. The gun doesn't "snap" into place. It feels like a friction fit and it's just not my thing, though I have no doubt that t G19 would fit more positively. I was originally interested in Tenicor because they mold the wedge directly into the Kydex. This seems like a better approach than a cushion that's fastened with velcro or double sided tape. I'm hoping I can find a holster manufacturer that has a similar approach. Another company that I really like is JX tactical. They have a unique wedge that fastens to the holster using screws, and similar to Tenicor, it seems to be a very sleek, streamlined design. Unfortunately, JX Tactical's light-bearing P-10 C holster is only compatible with the Olight PL Mini 2.

Could yall recommend some good options for a light-bearing CZ P-10 C with a light?

Optic Size on a Compact (CZ P10 C)

I'm new to the world of optics and I'd like to mount a red-dot on a newly purchased ported P-10 C (roughly the same size as a Glock 19). This is a general purpose gun which will be used for home defence, the range, and ccw when the weather allows (I think I'll prefer sub-compacts during the warmer seasons). I've never carried anything larger than a sub-compact (Ruger LC9s) and I have no experience with handgun optics. I'm trying to decide between a large RMR optic like the EPS or the Osight XR, or a smaller RMSc like the EPS carry or the Osight SE. The P-10 C is large enough to mount a larger optic but I'm surprised to see that folks commonly mount a smaller RMSc. I imagine that it's easier to carry a gun with a smaller optic but the actual difference in size is marginal. Then again, small differences can have a large impact when carrying so I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case. I was originally planning on purchasing an RMR (or similar) optic for the P-10 C but seeing yall's setups has got me second guessing myself. What would you recommend? Do you think that a larger optic would be significantly more difficult to carry?
