Why did Legend of Korra do spirits like that?

Im watching the show for the first time and half way through book two and it feels like they made spirits completely hollow the spirits in the original felt like real things with minds and needs but now they can just be pacified with the glowy spell? When spirits were angry it the original there was a reason that had to be solved. Why would they do this????

Just watching Legend of Korra on episode 3 of season two and this show is so FULL of goverment bootlicking its insane.

The original ATLA was about rebelling against and evil fascist empire and sure it had a few good royals but whatever but this show is constant "We need to follow the legal system" "Unalaq has the right to literally occupy this territory" "The rebels and revolutionaries doing violence is bad they should let themselves be occupied and or oppressed." and i have heard it only gets worse. this is insane.

Would Aang have just fought tarrlok when he enforced those rules about non-benders?

I am watching LoK for the first time and i am at the scene where Korras friends and all those people get arrested and i thought Aang probably would have not allowed it to happen and fought right? Though Aang is generally a mroe peaceful avatar i feel he would have been less peaceful here. am i right?

Am i the only one that feels like the sozins comet time limit limited the show potential?

To be clear before i get downvoted to hell i adored the show im relatively new to it and just finished it this month. What i kept thinking was "they are mastering these techniques to fast." which i get it that they had to with the limit but nobody masters a martial art in even a month. and i know they are prodigies but still i feel like it would have been awesome if we saw them mature from young teens into adults as they master this stuff as the war carries on i mean they had 100 years to work with and they gave themselves less than one. if we saw them change and their characters fully develop until Aang really feels like a fully realized avatar and the Gaang become masters of their fighting style (especially sokka) i think that would have been cool. i still adore the show though like i said and the characters. i would love your thoughts 😄.

Should i watch Legend of Korra?

Hi! So im pretty new to ATLA having finished the show early this month and i have heard alot of bad things about LoK for a long time but i have also heard the bad press was way overdone. So my question is is it worth watching for someone that like the original show? thank you 😄

This way people use to complain about the game is so idiotic.

I have seen so many people complaining that you can beat the game without doing anything and it could have been a show or a book. And like thats not the point? The point is the choices YOU make. Its a story game. This complaint really annoyed me. What are yalls thoughts?

We saw with Mei that support core students can invent things that allow them to fight people with a relatively powerful quirk (Iida) and then in the latest season we see a armoured suit on all might that can genuinely put up a fight against all for one something alot of heroes with quirks cant do. so even if its someone with armour alot less powerful than the hercules armour why do we never see this? i can understand why mei doesnt she just wants to invent but what about someone like deku that wants to be a hero but is smart.
