(edit: I can’t believe the insane toxic negative comments like I deserve to have my nest egg taken. I put the hei network on the ipad for my nephew and he just watched the colorful characters I DONT DESERVR THIS, I NEW I WAD NOT SUPPOSED TO WATCH IT. I hope whoever leaves nasty comments has a rat bite there eye or has a roof collapse on top of them.)

Posting for my aunt and uncle who are not on reddit. On Wednesday, September 30, at around 9-10 am, my uncle was on a bike ride and was hit by a car on Palos Verdes Drive, we think near St. Francis Episcopal (near Via Rosa / Via Anita).

Although he never goes without a helmet, he suffered a serious head injury which resulted in him having a brain bleed and 3 staples to close the wound. He's back home, but still dazed and not out of the woods.

There was an off duty fireman on the scene quickly, and the police were supposedly very helpful. But they say there were no eyewitnesses. They're trying to get details to get the other side of the story and piece together what happened.

If anyone happened to witness the accident, please let me know and I will get you in touch with authorities or family. Thanks.

Saw this poor toad helplessly stuck in this valve box lid. His bony skull was very firmly stuck. With 104 degree high today, I don’t think he would’ve made it past noon. 💪😇

Found this just where you see it sitting on the deck railing under a tall tree. I’m assuming it’s a squirrel tooth, but What else could it be?

Being this clean, it must have come from an owl’s excrement maybe? North Texas.
