I’m a gm console Starlord main that’s been wanting to learn DD as my 1st melee character:). Does anyone have any tips for current daredevil? I have a duo who usually dives in with me, so I’m almost never diving solo luckily. Also, do you generally need fast sens for him?

The title is satirical. I’ve been trying to learn venom for a dive tank & good god I just get absolutely blasted the second I touch a strategist😭. I’ve been playing qp with my friends since one of them is a dive player and for the life of me I feel like when I jump in I get decapitated. IM
BEGGING YALL PLEASE GIMME SOME TIPS ON DIVING.. I also tend to struggle diving with my other diver because it takes so long for me to get to where I need to be to setup on venom since I’ve been told I shouldn’t use my web swing on venom to engage. Any advice, streamers, or anything would help out sm

Hi yall! Recently started playing strategist to learn and try to get better at the role and honestly your guys tips from a previous post have helped out SO MUCH. thank you to whoever told me to get better at Loki clones placements as well as who said to improve positioning. Been winning sm games today and I think I might be able to reach diamond this weekend and hopefully even gm soon!!! Safe to say Loki and rocket are 100% my go to’s now with just white fox to learn aside from invis.

Console gm starlord player here, recently bought a Dualsense Edge/ps5 pro controller and oh my GOD I can’t believe I’ve been missing this my entire life. The back paddles have made it so much easier to consistently bhop on console which already felt near impossible to consistently do with the basic jump button. The joysticks height adjustment also helped me out with aiming so much, averaging 40%s when it used to be low-mid 30s. Might actually try and reach celestial now with such an upgrade in my gameplay
Hello everyone! Hope whoever’s reading this is doing well. Im a console player who recently picked up Phoenix as my first poke character (and cause she’s hot) and good god I don’t know how yall console players can confidently play poke. I feel like im whiffing all my shots. I main starlord so my average accuracy per game on him is around 35-40% but when I see those same numbers on phoenix I feel like it could/should be much higher. Does anyone have any tips regarding how to improve your aim for poke characters specifically? I’ve played a few qp games just to get a feeling for shooting on her but feel I could definitely do better. I normally try to avoid tanks (unless it’s to finish them off) and target dps/strats. My profile should be open for anyone that wants a deeper look. Any advice is greatly appreciated 🫶🏾
Hello everyone! I’m here to ask yall strat mains for some tips and advice on how to properly play strategist. I’m a console dps (starlord my king) main but since I’m now starting to want to reach celestial as my new rank goal, I wanted to branch out to strategist to flex more.
The only strategists I’ve played and enjoyed are mantis (bbg), Loki, and gambit. Though in all honesty I have a sub 50% winrate on Loki, I played mantis back when I first started playing the game as my first character in 2.5 and didn’t even know what I was doing until I gained consciousness and realized what you’re even supposed to do in this game (still trash at her sadly), and gambit is behind bars in ban jail.
Any tips/advice on Loki and mantis along with some recommendations for other strategists that could be worth playing/learning are very very appreciated! I’m a low-mid gm player that peaked in gm1 a couple seasons ago.
P.S: I don’t have any replay codes at the moment for any vod reviews, so I might either just add those to the replies below when I play more games or make a follow up post entirely with a handful of games to review. Ignore or cherish the picture, I just love the Starlord mantis dynamic duo.🫶🏾
