Just curious if there was ever a plan to expand Pal-Arinsal ski resort by the mountain in between them, as looking on google earth there seem to be cutaways through the forested area, presumably to create a new pistae/ runs?
Why on earth did they decide to put the motorway right at the seafront instead of a bit further inland, connecting all these towns nicely? You could have such nice seaside developments instead of that motorway literally 5 meters from the beach, it's just crazy. It reminds me of the train lines in Catalonia, also right at the beach. Who was the genius that approved that?
I'm an advance beginner, can carve etc ride quite well. So far only rental equipment but most of the time these were HEAD boots and board. Boots itself good fit 8.5US, I walk around no problem, toes just about touching the front of the boot. They only have 8.5 and 9.5, but with 9.5 I still have the same problem.
As soon I do a little riding, and especially on button lifts my front foot hurt quite a lot that I have to take breaks. It is the side of the foot (small toe side), not under the foot (not arch), but literally the side edge. In the bigger size boots it is the same, different binding position does not help. Perhaps I need a wide fit? Any ideas?
Rant on. If you are stupid enough and have no self preservation instinct and have decided to wear ALL WHITE on a mountain then that is on you, but it is also dangerous to everyone else. Ski resorts should ban wearing all white. Like honestly, it's snowing with poor visibility as it it and you are wearing WHITE?? come on

I’m a bit of a Google Maps geek, and I have to say I’ve never seen a city anywhere in the world with so many small parks dotted around it as Lima. Is there a particular reason why Lima has so many of them? Was there a specific urban planning strategy, a historical movement, or perhaps a person who strongly advocated for this kind of design? In the UK, I've only ever come across farm-based campsites where everyone pitches together in one large field. Are there any places that offer individual, secluded pitches (ideally with wooden platforms) nestled in the woods, similar to the picture? I'm based in Liverpool, but I'm happy to travel anywhere in the UK.

I used to watch capitan tsubasa as a kid and loved it. I think there was one episode that was quite emotional but im not sure if I remember it well - there was Tsubasa and Misaki kicking a ball at a train station? i think some sort of Misaki farewell episode?
