The Whack-A-Mole Phenomenon

How many of you have experienced this? Where one theme is temporarily replaced by another? Only one usually takes center stage...reminds me of that whack-a-mole game in arcades.

Anybody else?

OCD Awareness Month

I didn't know this existed until recently. It is so important.

Let's remember to lift each other up and spread awareness. Lest we forget, OCD can make people suicidal. It has ended lives. No small potatoes here.

I will continue to pray daily for not only myself, but for everyone with this condition. And I'm praying for a cure too, not just strength to endure.

Let's stand united. <3

I'm exhausted. Anybody else just tired?

I tried to limit my Clonopin today but I just took one. My hands were shaking from the stress.

Is anyone else just plain tired? The ruminating and all that garbage is wearing me out.

I've been ticking and twitching all day. Praying fervently that this gets better. I so want to be well.

I just want this malware off my brain.

I feel like a lab rat from all the drugs I'm on.

If you have advice or even encouragement, I'd appreciate it, fam. ❤️

Third month of being symptom-free

So let me preface this by saying that this is only MY experience. I am not a professional and am not giving advice. This is merely MY finding for myself. So mods, please don't delete.

This is my third month of taking natural, wild yam-derived progesterone sublingual drops. Interestingly, it's also my third month of basically being symptom-free. I'm not bitchy, I'm not angry, I'm not sobbing. Actually, as I write this, I'm at Yankee Stadium about to enjoy a game!

This could be a coincidence or a placebo effect, true. But I doubt it.

Your mileage may vary! If you've got questions, ask away! There is so much hope. 😄❤️‍🩹🩷❤️

I've been hospitalized since November - AMA

You read that properly. Admitted myself in November, just got released to a respite facility this month. Over the last eight months I've received 12 rounds of electroconvulsive therapy, gotten 6 rounds of IV ketamine infusion therapy, and tried countless medications.

It's taken a toll but I think things are looking up.

I'm also investigating having deep brain stimulation.

I know - this is a lot.

I'm weary but hopeful.

The road home is sometimes a long one.

Fuck OCD but bless being alive.

Game changing

Progesterone sublingual drops have been a game changer for me. My second month of using them and my second month of *much* milder symptoms - nearly no symptoms. I doubt it's a coincidence.

Woke up this morning and she had come - all without the strife and meltdowns.

I hope this helps someone. There really is hope, peeps. ❤️ Ask away if you have questions!
and yes, I realize this won't help everyone and that some have bad effects to progesterone. This is merely my experience.

ps mods, please don't delete this!

pss I have also tried progesterone pills and topical creams. The drops just have way more efficacy for me personally. 👍

I may have found a cure.

Hey kids! Started progesterone sublingual drops last month. No PMDD for two months.

I'm on othervmeds but I really do think it's the drops!

Any users here? What are your experiences? I'm really happy about this! I'm on day 26 and I don't want to nuke a small country!
