What’s up with the Panther tank Side Skirts? any fix?

Tried this with the Panzer 4 (H) and it didn’t happen with that tank, it appears this is solely a Panther problem. Not only does the tank quite literally look naked without its skirt but also i hate spawning in the middle of a firefight just to find my tank only has either some or absolutely none of its pretty crucial armor protection.
