I didn’t screenshot the instagram post in time but they made “Jane doe merch” which i cant believe i am even saying that (for those unaware its about the cornell 7/57) and said on their instagram post that 5% of profits went to a woman’s charity. IM SORRY 5%????? You are making a profit off of someones assault! Anyways i snagged a screenshot from the website of the deisgns but they are gone. They are purging so hard tryna delete this and turned off all comments on instagram.

For reference if you buy a 40$ shirt, 5% is 2$.

My local mall is using ai

I called out the bay centre and festival of trees in my local mall for using an ai generated song in their marketing. I made a video about it after the festival of trees blocked me 4hrs after i made a post. Multiple people tagged both the bay centre on instagram and the festival of trees wanting a response. I have now been blocked by the bay centre. They can block me but im not going to shut up about it. If you want the proof im like 90% sure its still up but i also screen recorded it.

Also while telling another friend apparently this isn’t the first time they have used ai. I made a post on my local subreddit and they removed it. Also people saying “its a local buisness go after big corporations.” Like i dont? So the line for you at holding someone accountable is if they are local? Why cant we call everyone out for using ai.

Is it legal for my boss to make me work on my days off with no pay?

For reference my boss told me i need to bring in models to practice on my days off. I only have 2 days off a week as i work 2 jobs.

Im pretty sure i wont be getting paid or compensation for my time and my boss says its expected of me to come in on my days off to work on models. In my last meeting she said she was “giving me two weeks.” And i dont know if that means giving me two weeks and im fired if i dont, or giving me two weeks to bring in models and see how im doing.

Either way i will be sacrificing one if not both days off that i have and im already exhausted from my other job.

Is this even legal?
Im hourly.
