So the scene in TFoR where Chief gets energy shields for the first time with the Mark V isn’t canon anymore, I guess.

Half of the MK V’s whole deal was that it was the first mjolnir to have energy shields (as well as an AI neural interface) and I could stomach the MK V (B) as a parallel prototype and pretend the shields red team had in the first halo wars gameplay just didn’t exist, but at this point why even bother putting him in the MK IV for that mission?
