Isn't Tanith kinda cute (Art by me) (Rant Below)

Several days ago, I downloaded a mobile game called Grim Soul. The genre is survival, crafting, and probably some RPG elements too. At first I enjoyed it. Some of the mechanics are a bit rough around the edges, no in game currency that I can get from non-paid method, always needing energy to travel from one area to another, the items disappear whenever they run out of durability and the durability itself is really bad too/ quick to break. So far it's still somewhat tolerable. I even managed to get around level 36-37 and got decent amount of resources: copper, wood, stone, cloths, etc.

But after repeated deaths, so many ambushes by other exiles, I just can't take it. I can't take this level of disrespect where the game makes itself so hard to the point where I can't have fun and at the same time shoving the option of paying my way through victory. Winning a fight, getting a victory is part of joy, not the whole of it. If I were ro pay my way there, where's the effort? Where's the satisfaction? Might as well I pay for a movie ticket because if I use paid items, my skill doesn't matter anymore.

Now why would I tell you this? Well, because I gave up on that game, I decided that it was a good idea to continue my stalled artwork, which is this one. So the reason, part of it, that I'm able to present this to you lovely people, is because I was screwed by a fabulous-looking but really toxic mobile game.

I have a question about Knights and this is the only related sub I know. It is, technically, also magic related

I'm working on a book and the coolest character is a knight. He's a living armour.

I know nothing about actual armour or different sword styles so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Or a write a passionate essay about the different types of armours and swords.

Also, if it matters. He's an artificer, he does make his owm armour cause his body gets damaged. And I imagine him with a really cool longsword.

Finally, he can sort of stretch himself to a certain extent. Like seperating the gauntlet while keeping control up to several meters. So he uses a rope he built into the armour + spring to grappel around. Or he can swing like spiderman. Very cool concept.

And its also post Apocalyptic but this is about Knights

Is it unethical to falsely call yourself a knight to draw in clients as a mercenary?

Art by me. (UN)IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not treat as an actual ad. I do not provide medieval mercenary services.

Blooper from my alchemist video.

This is an amazing blooper from my Shoddy Alchemist video I posted the other day.

you see it had rained the day before at wv renaissance festival and the paths were a little slippy. BUT my friend is a true thespian and figured the show MUST go on! His determination to continue after the slip made me lose it! I hope you enjoy!
