Dog Murder by Rob Key Triumphs Over Evil, 2026 (colourised)
Maybe pedantic, but can you say "most capped" for a head coach?
They aren't getting caps for managing right?
Scotland's next manager
Right, there's no one about and we've got till 2030 for Clarke to leave so I reckon we need to nominate someone from this sub who has the most ball knowledge. If we all chip in we should be able to get them a UEFA Pro License in no time and I'm sure someone here knows someone who knows someone that can land them a cushy first job somewhere like Patrick Thistle.
Then we just need to keep posting about their tactical genius until it gets scraped by journalists coming here looking for a story. That sounds about enough to get the SFA's attention who will then promptly hire the first person that comes to mind once Clarke steps down. Maybe we should paint a big mural of our nominee outside their window just to be sure.
UEFA World Cup Qualifying is SO UNFAIR!
It is *ridiculous* to ask England to play games to earn their place at the World Cup! We invented football and have all the best players and honestly no league other than the WSL really matters anyway we should get an automatic place at the world cup. They also should be playing the games at times that are convenient for GMT to help grow the game. It's so unhelpful for the WSL that the games will be on early in the morning.
Also it's xenophobic and super unfair that England can't call up Putellas and Shaw even though they literally live in England?!
Despite only making up 10% of the players in the WSL Playoff squads, former SWPL players scored 33.34% of the penalties!
SWPL table (1 game to go)
After drawing with Glasgow City today, the SWPL is going to the final day for a 4th consecutive season.
Hearts could make history next week by winning their first ever piece of silverware - just the small matter of a league title... All they have to do is beat reigning champions, 2nd most successful team in the country, and local rivals Hibernian. Away from home.
Rangers *must* win against Glasgow City to have any chance of a title lift, a situation they find themselves in for a third year in a row. They were victorious in the Old Firm 4-0 today despite having to start two 16-year-olds due to unavailable players.
n.b. Patrick Thistle have fewer points than teams below them because they were in the top six at the split and as such have faced a final 10 games against the rest of the top 6 while those below them played a final 6 against the rest of the bottom 4. After the split teams can't move between top and bottom 6.
n.b. 2 of note to WSL/England fans, Chelsea's Katie Cox will play the playoff against SWPL 2 opposition to decide the final promotion/relegation spot.
It's the lack of consistency
I was at Fir Park on the weekend there and have been seething ever since I got home. I went to make a pie and chips and accidentally added 400ml of water to my bisto instead of 200ml. An absolute watery mess.
It's not good enough, I'm thinking of writing a letter to ScotGov to complain so this never happens again.
All that after watching an obvious last minute handball.
