hi everyone i have 2 cats, and have had them for a very long time.. I used to use clay litter up until about a month ago but i was getting furious about the tracking especially on my bedsheets, so with the advice of many cat owners, i made the switch to wood pellets. It started out amazing, there was no tracking, they were using it without issue, life was good. about a week ago my girl started pooping outside of the box for some reason i couldn't identify. I didn't make it a big deal, mind you the litter box would be clean of poop and sawdust when she did this, I clean it every morning. I started waking up to find poop next to the litter box. I know you guys will say she doesn't like the wood pellets, but she used it fine for 3 weeks straight. I started giving their daily wet food on the mornings where there was no poop next to the box while showing her, hoping that would train her, but it didn't, she started being more demanding on the days she did get the wet food even if she had her treat and when I didn't comply because she already had the wet food, she started pooping out even mid day after i wasn't giving her what she wanted. Did she start using this method to try to control or punish me or something??? Or are the wood pellets really the problem? Guys I HATE clay litter, wood pellets were truly a miracle hygiene wise as well as being economic, I really don't want to go back to clay. What do I do, does anyone have a solution? I am having the hardest time not to get angry, she knows she's not supposed to do it, when i catch her next to the litter box after pooping she quickly crawls away, please help me... I'm losing my mind...

this sub is about enlightenment right? People keep complaining about the posts or the community, but if you disagree with something just voice your opinion on the post, I mean, isn’t that what this sub is about? Argue your heart away who cares? I love arguing on the internet, it’s part of what keeps us entertained. And it’s about thoughts ffs, not even politics or something. Some complain about high people, some complain about people who claim to be spokespeople. I mean, trying to convince others is part of the process is it not? We are interacting with things we don’t like. I think if we realize how much we truly enjoy internet for what it is we would get along: a place where you can swear all you want, fight all you want and it’s awesome. But in real life we are shy, and more “understanding”. I mean, this sub or not the truth about how the world is brought this sub to be this way, why not embrace that? By the way, I’m high right now and so what. I know it’s bad for you, it overworks your brain and slowly tires it out. But hey, this is a discussion ground. Why do you think suddenly what the mind says when it’s high is useless? If you’re wise enough to never go down that path, learn. Because it is foolish to meddle with the working logic of your brain, but the heart is a fool and some people listen too much to the heart and the heart has no business wanting to live as long as possible, that’s the brain. But anyways what I’m saying is anyone can learn from each other, and I think we can all agree on that.
