Lakers better get Duran over Kessler

You’d have to pay either one big money, we already paid Austin who is not proven big money as he has zero NBA accolades. Jalen Duren is at the very least, younger than Walker Kessler, more durable and is an All-NBA player which Kessler hasn’t even played enough games to qualify for All-NBA outside his rookie season. Jalen Duren the better option.

How much sentiment is there among fans when famous players leave big clubs?

Do football fans get attached to star players in the same way American fans do in US based sports or are players more seen as pieces that get passed around?

I see guys like Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, MBappe, Neymar all switch teams. None of the football stars seem to stay on 1 team their entire careers. In American sports there’s always this push from the fanbase for superstars to play their entire career with 1 team even if it’s for the detriment of the team. When a famous player does leave a team in an American sport, American fans act like it’s some major devastation. Is this a sentiment in football or is there more of an understanding of the business?

Petition to ban NFL shows and discourse during the offseason

In the middle of June, nobody cares about the NFL. Give us MLB coverage, WNBA coverage, NASCAR coverage, World Cup coverage. Anything except NFL, how about the sports that are actually playing. NFL in the middle of the offseason is pointless. We need a break.

The Reaves contract will probably cost us a title in the Doncic era

Paying Reaves doesn’t hurt us this summer but it will in the future. Your 2 top paid players being unathletic negative defenders is not a championship recipe. In order for the Lakers to win a title they’ll have to either draft extraordinarily well or they’ll have to get lucky that other teams had injuries. You don’t win championships with bad defense.

The Lakers hand was forced unfortunately due to the Pistons trying to overpay Reaves. We had no choice, but to overpay him. If one NBA team overpays him, you also have to which is how the NBA has all these good players who are making great player money. It sucks but this is what it is and I’m assuming the sign and trade market wasn’t good because that would’ve been the best outcome.

Luka and Reaves ain’t a title winning duo. Don’t even bring up Kyrie because 1 he’s a proven playoff performer which Reaves is not even that and 2 that team didn’t win a title.

How did PSG get better after losing MBappe, Messi and Neymar?

How did PSG go from being known chokers to winning champions league back to back years despite losing 3 superstar players? I remember when they had MBappe, Messi and Neymar I thought they would be unstoppable and the best team in the world.

Was NASCAR 09 (Xbox 360, PS3) the greatest NASCAR game ever?

In my opinion it was, the driving mechanics felt the most realistic out of any NASCAR game. The detail that the setups went into were engaging and I felt like a real NASCAR crew chief. Also the fact that you had a long career mode with enough challenges to keep you engaged for a long time. NASCAR 09 (360 and PS3) was what NASCAR is all about.

I don’t understand how one enjoys horror movies

They’re just dark, disturbing and depressing. There’s nothing fun or enjoyable about watching them. It doesn’t give me any positive feelings. The world itself is already so negative, why do I need to see even more negativity? When I’m at the movies I want to have a good time and have fun watching something. That isn’t fun.

Are you starting to get any ‘Trump Fatigue’?

As in sick and tired of Trump. From the temper tantrums, to the blaming Obama despite him not being in office for a decade to him threatening anyone who says anything against him.

If Lakers give Reaves the max I’m gonna lose it mentally

We can’t have 2 slow guys who are unathletic and don’t defend getting max money. We’ll never have a top defense and without a top defense you can pretty much kiss championship hopes goodbye. It will show this organization is clueless.

I think people who sympathize for celebrities are dumb

I think if you feel sorry for a celebrity you’re pretty dumb. I say this because being around rich people my whole life, I see how they live and I see the contrast between that and poor people and you really shouldn’t feel sorry for them.

I’m talking about any type of situation that can warrant everyday people feeling sorry for a famous person, whether it be something mentally that they went through like Michael Jackson with his parent or people who feel sorry for actresses when the press body shames them. Like when the press called Olivia Wilde ugly a few months ago. You’re dumb if you do so because they have so much money.

When you got the common man working and trying to survive paycheck to paycheck you shouldn’t feel sorry for people living lavish lifestyles. Life isn’t easy for anybody and we all have things about our lives that suck at times but you shouldn’t feel sorry for anybody rich. If you want to be sympathetic, use it towards people who actually need it and that would be people who are struggling financially. Not to say you owe them money, but they can at least get your emotional support if they’re somebody close to you.
