This is probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever done, and I honestly deserve all the hate I’m about to get.
Back in November, our wedding was originally scheduled for the same week Black Ops 7 was launching. I’ve been playing Call of Duty since I was a kid, and I was weirdly excited for launch night. I kept thinking about how we’d be on our honeymoon while all my friends were grinding multiplayer, figuring out the maps, and having that “everyone starts from scratch” experience.

At first I was joking with my fiancée, saying, “What if we just moved the wedding back a couple of weeks?” Somehow that joke turned into an actual conversation. I convinced myself it made sense because we’d also have a better chance at good weather for the ceremony and honeymoon. After a lot of eye rolling and me promising it would be worth it, she actually agreed.

Well… the week we were originally supposed to get married ended up being absolutely perfect. Sunny every day, mid-70s, basically ideal weather.
The week we actually got married? It was one of the worst rainstorms our area had seen in years. Our outdoor ceremony got moved at the last minute, a bunch of our pictures were ruined, and most of what we had planned for our honeymoon got canceled because it rained almost nonstop.

It’s been months, and my wife still brings it up every chance she gets. Anytime it rains she’ll look at me and say, “At least you didn’t miss Call of Duty.” I don’t even argue anymore because she’s 100% right.
I know I sound like an idiot, but how do i make this up for my wife? Ive apologized so many times to her but she hasn’t moved on please help 😭
