Ideas where the rear oil leak is from?
Im putting in a new clutch and while im in here im doing the rear main seal as well. Noticed there's oil on the driverside rear of the engine. Any ideas what it could be?

Basically i built my flatbed for my truck a tad bit heavy and the stock cheap shocks I got literally do nothing. So I now fear bridges as they make my truck feel like a ship in a storm. Any recommendations for heavy duty shocks? Front and rear, my grandpa recommended making mounts for a dual setup, so Im up for trying that as well.
Made a post a couple weeks ago asking about getting one and after thinking it over i ended up buying one. I went with a ebay kit and it seemes to fit great. I cleaned and flushed the parts before installing to make sure any weld dust didnt get sucked into my turbo. Any of the issues that popped up were because of my own add ons. The new ac condenser mounts and Intercooler mounts had to be modified because I put in a bigger radiator and had to length the radiator support. It dropped the Exhaust temperatures 150 - 200 degrees. Towing a trailer up a big hill near my house used to make the temps rise to 1100° now its down to 900°. I should have measured the air intake temps from before and after but I forgot to. The intake and outlet of the Intercooler has a big difference, the intake can't be touched because of the heat but the outlet pipe can be grabbed and its only warm. Been driving for the last few days with it and probably put about 200 miles with no issues, but thats barely anytime to see if any issues will pop up.
Fixed up my grandpas old brand now that its fully functional I want to start upgrading it. My grandpa put like 400k miles on this truck, towing all manner of shenanigans and never really had issues and that was without an intercooler. so im wondering if an intercooler would be a good upgrade and is it worth the $1k these kits seem to run.
So I added an electrical fuel pump system to my 1994.5 powerstroke and the old fuel selector valve was too restrictive. So right now i just have the truck running off one tank bypassing the selector valve. I am wanting to continue using dual tanks and am looking into putting in the big 38 gallon rear tank as well. My question being, are there any good replacement for the old selector valve i would prefer an electric actuated but would be fine with a mechanical one if thats the only viable option. Thanks for any help on this
So far my biggest single sales flip ive done, ive only went to get Hannah and I own all of Bowerstone 🤣
Hello, I recently put together a electric fuel pump kit for my obs 7.3 because the mechanical fuel pump went out. The issue im having is that after I shut the pump off it no longer seems to hold pressure in the return regulator. I have it set at 60, and it will run great but after I shut it off it will drop pretty fast within 5 minutes the guage will read at 0 psi, when with the mechanical pump it would typically stay around 20 psi even after days of no running it. I used the stock return line. This along with a hissing/rushing sound near the regulator. There is no leaks as i have inspected for wet spots and then sprayed soapy water to see if any bubbles appeared and it seems good, Any ideas? Thanks for any help on this project.
Both my trucks are down for maintenance so the mustang had to do some work today. It has a v8, truck tires, rear wheel drive and its a manual transmission, its basically a truck already. Honestly hauled great but it was only a 5x10 trailer with two 3/4 inch fire boards so wasn't like it was heavy.
Poor truck has been taking the back seat to my other projects, but when there's some river fun to be had, it is my go to ride.
