Was fortunate to come into a small box of these over the weekend, about 90 or so. Picked out these to snap a couple of photos and share with some friends, figured I’d post here as a long time lurker. Dated late 1880’s to 1915, several series captured here.

I took a bit of a break from TTM but sent off a couple last week and just got this one back. Jim weaver signed and had it back to me in 7 days, which might be a new record for me. This is my 145th return since picking this up a couple years back.
I have no particular affinity with the angles or the ‘68 set, rather just snag vintage of living players at the LCS for a $1 or less and then fire them off. I enjoy writing the letters and getting the occasional note back.
Curious if anyone has any raw examples available? More so curious on the price point and if this is something I actually want to chase after.

CSG had harder plastic but a cleaner seam split whereas the PSA was more brittle and easier to break into but the split was less satisfying. These are headed into my set build.

Working on the last of ‘59 set, the ‘53 was just because I liked it, the Play Ball because I always buy pre-war from the LCS when they have it, and the 3 HoF Autos for the chase.
