Found this unusual lamp in a thrift store in TX, USA.
Image search brings up similar pieces by Mario Villa but none exactly match and there’s no signature I can find.
The cord indicates it’s at least vintage, but other than that I don’t know about age.
Any additional info about this piece appreciated!
I’ve found some similar Duncan & Miller sets but not this exact set. I’m not even 100% sure the bowl matches the ladle/cups. Very heavy.
Any help is appreciated!!
I picked up this beauty at the thrift store, but I’m totally ignorant of what it is. Would appreciate any help!
Thrifted this piece. When I turn it on, the bulbs and shades get super hot almost immediately (to where it smells like a heater has come on).
I was hoping someone could help me identify when it was made and by whom.
Looking for any information on this Tirschenreuth Bavaria plate. Image search indicates the crest in the center is Prussian.
I’m curious if this plate was made in 1915/1914 or if it was made later in commemoration? I know Prussia was mostly dissolved by 1919 but I guess they could still make plates after that if they wanted for veterans, etc?
The Tirschenreuth mark helped me possibly narrow it down to 1903-1969.
Dimensions: 7 3/4 inches diameter
I think the signature reads Kuiper. The year is hard for me to make out, but it looks most like ‘24 to me.
The most likely match I could find was Jacob Kuiper (1919-2007) but then ‘24 wouldn’t make sense.
Any help or info is appreciated!
The two lines scratched through means it’s not top quality? What do the letters/initials in the corner mean?
Found at the thrift store. It’s 2 feet 9 inches tall.

I recently picked up this stoneware jug at the thrift store and I’m trying to ID it. There are some marks on the metal rim but I can’t make them out and wouldn’t know what they mean even if I did 😅
I’d appreciate any help or guidance on identifying/dating this piece!
I found this jug at the thrift store today. The tag said it was from the 18th century—is it?
It has metal around the rim.
It looks like it’s been broken and repaired around the rim.
I recently found this cool Menorah at the thrift store, and I’d like to remove the wax.
It’s been tough going so far. I’ve tried hot water, blow dryer and even heat gun. The heat gun was somewhat helpful, but even with the gun it seems like it would be an all day affair to remove it all.
From my internet sleuthing, this is an Austin Productions piece made of something called Durastone. Any suggestions for removing the wax effectively?
