What is Nashik's young generation require?

What is Nashik's young generation missing in their 20s? I remember when I was in my engineering college in Aurangabad, at that time we had TechFest in a reputed college.

I felt so deprived of the technology as I could see students from that college were doing great and had great personalities. And extremely well versed with science, tech and collaboration. Though I am doing well now but I wish I would have got such a platform from my college or so to groom a better version of myself.

What is the Nashik missing out? I know a few colleges here but I have no idea how the campus selection or where the young generation requires uplifting.

What are their challenges? And what happens when you graduate but no direction for future.

Do you prefer veg in non-vegetarian restaurant?

I would prefer a pure veg restaurant with liquor options but I see this option is very rare.

I see only Tales and Spirit provide this option.

But in general do you prefer veg dishes made in the same kitchen where non veg is cooked. 🫣

Thali with Chinese samosa😱

Today I ate thali at Karoli sweets. What I did not like about thali is Chinese samosa. It's like samosa but inside you will find noddles. Who will like that and why such demand of food.

What's wrong?

Why is thali getting confused with odd food ideas. I removed that samosa from the thali as I did not want to eat that with traditional food offered in the thali.

What would have done? I know many will answer I would eat as it's in thali 🫢

I wanted to give feedback to the owner but I couldn't as he wa serving with love 😔

But I can't tolerate anymore if next time thali will have that samosa again 😡

Dish without Sambar 😬

Today, I went to eat at a new restaurant called 'Ramasserry'. It's a south indian restaurant. Google had 4.1 rating so I thought it would be good.

We ordered basic south Indian dishes like idli, rice etc.

The first disappointment, the menu was damn limited. Somehow I convinced myself and started eating the food.

The Bisi bila bath was stale and the first bite tasted bad. I complained that this is stale rice and the manager accepted it and said you can order something else.

I paid the bill and when I saw another table had sambar then I asked the manager, why did not you serve the sambar.

And you know what he replied 🫢

Mam, you did not ask for Sambar. I was like 'what'

I did not ask. I said sambar is the default dish. OMG... I couldn't believe this.,.. how one cannot serve sambar with idli...

And I was amazed to know myself that how I can eat south indian food without a sambar 🫣

Why love is afraid of confront on face that you love the person?

My friend is in love with her manager. He is married and she is married too.

She expressed her feelings to him. And he just focuses on the work which is right. Professional life making this love story is too complicated and top of it both are married.

Does he also love? I am not sure but she loves him. She is not asking or disturbing him by any chance. Her heart is at the right place and he also said it multiple times.

I think he respects her feelings and does not want to hurt her by saying anything. So totally he focuses on the work. But his eyes can't deceive the truth that he wants love in return.

They both compliment each other. They complete the work they do. If none of the situations exists then I am sure they would have fallen in love.

How one should live in such situation. One just accept the situation and tell your heart or just stop loving him. But it is now not in her hand to not love him.

Or one should not open her/ his door for love as it's too dangerous to be in that position.🥺

Boss is always right!

Sometimes I just feel like kicking something so hard to vent out my frustrations with my boss.

But unfortunately you have to smile and say..yes yes I will do it...

I don't know why I don't have courage to scream at him. Tell him why he is wrong.

I know I don't want to lose my job but am I really happy with this job? No I am not. But I don't know what else I would have done in life.

In such situations how one can keep calm and do the work?

Nashik needs.....

Nashik is a beautiful place to live. No doubt but it lacks certain things to make life more happening here...

  1. Clubs - nice clubs to meet and greet people. There may be some but I am not aware of it. I am a member of SSK world club but it's so boring that I only went once at a new year party.

  1. Good restaurants - Apart from Mazhali or Tales and Spirit. This city lacks really really good restaurants. BTW, Tales and Spirit is not that great as well.

3.Malls - only one mall where this generation will go....

  1. Nightlife - it really lacks. I don't know if any good night clubs exist.

  1. Recreation centers - this lacks for sure

  1. Live concerts - totally totally not there. I have to go to Mumbai or Pune to attend love concerts sadly. Nashik does not invite a single singer or comedy show.

  1. Job opportunities - Not sure if IT could be buzz here.

  1. Public transport - a young crowd prefers good transport especially at night.

I can add more to the list. Wake up Nashikar... Cafes is appealing to youngsters because they are not creative or lazy. We are just making them lazy by eating pizzas and burger and they will hot the gym if enough motivated. Sad as it has potential to grow better but business minded people make it the worst look of this city.

Or prefer youngster eating cafe food?

Anyone listening to Geeta Darshan?

Anyone listened to the Osho's Geeta Darshan discourses?

I am on 11 discourse and it will be over soon. I wish I would have a master to teach me more about Geeta Darshan. Why we love who leaves us and when they are alive we hate them.

Butterfly Garden

I wish Tata would have made it more pleasant. It lacks maintenance. Kids are not excited to be there. It charges 50/- and it's really not worth it.

Lots of info boards and pictures but they don't make any context there.

When you say butterfly garden then I think one should plant something to attract butterflies. I kept searching for butterflies but never saw butterfly or maybe my timing wasn't right.

This could have been potentially famous garden of Nashik and Tata definitely can make it. Nashik is blessed with green belt and nice weather, though summers are too hot these days. I see Nashikar loves nursery and every house surrounded with plants and creepers and trees. Tata must learn the Nashikars heart hehehhe.... This garden could have uplifted the Nashik but I am disappointed. I tried to like this garden but i unable.

Did you like it?

City center mall

It's only a mall with limited brands in Nashik. The new addition is Forrest Essential which I don't find any reason for existing in the mall 😂.

BBQ was good before Covid but now it is getting worse with the bad odur it has when you enter the restaurant.

I like when there are some love shows or showing the big screen on the world cup. Or some festive decorations.

But there is a huge crowd on weekends and you hate it because food and sitting is almost not available.

I like the crossword. Overall a nice place but prefer more good food outlets.

Food is the main attraction of malls apart from shopping and movie theatres.

All I see is KFC and pizzas. A good restaurant does not exist in the city center mall 😌

Do you have any favourite shops in the mall?

Worst resturants in Nashik

Guys, I have been exploring the restaurants in nashik. To my surprise many were disappointed. I really don't understand why the decor of the restaurants is so downgraded that we came out after looking at the dirty chairs. A recent visit to 'Thyme & Whisk' disappointed by its dirty chairs. I have seen dirt chairs in most of the restaurants. And owners do not consider cleaning them. I wonder how hygienic food is.
