A520M-HDV motherboard won't recognize USB during BIOS flash.

I need to update my BIOS to fix a Secure Boot issue so I can play Faceit, but no matter what I do, Instant Flash just won't recognize the file on my USB stick.

Here is what I have already tried:

  • Formatted to FAT32 (tried both MBR and GPT) on completely empty drives.
  • Tried multiple different USB sticks.
  • Extracted the file to the root of the drive.
  • Out of sheer desperation: tried older BIOS versions, renamed the file to .ROM, left it zipped, put it in folders... nothing works.

Is there some secret setting I am overlooking? Is there a specific USB port or button I am supposed to be using? I am completely at a loss, so I'm hoping someone smarter than me can help me out!
