At the end of the universe lies the beginning of…testing.

We’re happy to announce that our Tribble Test Server is about to return! After far too long of being locked away from our playerbase, you’ll be able to get in and start testing Star Trek Online’s content again! The doors to tribble will open wide on Friday, May 22^(nd).

New to Tribble? It’s our test server, where you can grab many Star Trek Online items for free and see how they work. It’s also used as a testing ground for new content, to see how players react and what they want changed. You can copy one of your characters from Holodeck (STO’s main, live server) to Tribble to start right away with all of your current progress and gear, as soon as the server is live.. Tribble will begin updating to the current Holodeck build (meaning it will be exactly the same game as what you’re playing right now) on Tuesday the 19^(th), so you can start patching it then in preparation.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be right to bring Tribble back without a party. On Friday, May 22^(nd) at 1pm PT, log in to Tribble and head to the orbit of Deep Space Nine, where Ambassador Kael will appear with some…surprises for you. You might want to bring your best ship build – players can attest to how crazy these Tribble Parties get.
