Booktubers with 2016-2019 vibes?

I don’t know if this makes sense but I miss how booktube used to be with less-than-perfect editing, more candid vlogs, fun readathons.. think Chelseadolling reads, my reading is odd, Codie’s book corner, hardback hoarder, Riley Marie, books and lala before it became her full-time job (I love to re-watch her closet unhaul series). I miss the simple readathons like contemporaryathon, witchathon, smutathon lol I don’t know I’m just feeling nostalgic but a lot of my favorites deleted their content ugh. Are there any current creators that are funny, don’t just read what’s popular on booktok, and don’t have a freaking Patreon, that you guys enjoy? Bonus points if they’re in their 30s+

Where to get alterations done?

I have some scrub pants that are too long, so I’m not looking for anything fancy/expensive. Cheapish but gets the job done well and quick turnaround are what I’m looking for

What do you guys do when you’re on call overnight?

I already slept today thinking I’d be working, but they put me on call. I wondered what you guys do to keep busy but be able to stop everything you’re doing suddenly? I’ll probably just sit around reading and do some cleaning. I’m sure I’ll get tired by 2am, do you guys go to bed and just be kinda ready to go if they do call?

Who here has found their faith after previously being a non-believer?

I don’t know if this is discussed here often, I am new to this sub. I have never been into religion. I don’t necessarily disbelieve in a higher being and I’ve never done research to come to my own conclusion one way or the other. I had a family member pass recently and I WANT to believe in heaven because it’s comforting. I guess what I’m asking is whether anyone has been like me, where they were able to transition and develop their faith from nothing. If you have, how do you go about it? I’ve thought of reading the Bible almost like studying it to see what I think. I don’t want my emotional state to sway me, I am someone who needs logic along with my beliefs. I know people talk about hearing from God but I’ve never felt that unless that’s what this is, my desire to want to believe. Hopefully someone will understand because I know I’m kind of rambling at this point
