BV Chieftain mid budget help a noob

Hey guys! (I apologize for my english in advance)

First time playing this far a league. I manage to build a starter (SRS AG Hierophant) and farm enough to build a second character with mid budget. I've followed a guide from xthefarmerx and tried to setup the mid budget tier (this is my pobb: https://pobb.in/wsO7mR27nYS0 and this one his pobb: https://pobb.in/9yhI7E41dNxT ). I'm quite proud that I learnt how to get to this point but now I have a pair of questions that I couldn't find the answer by myself:

  1. Max fire res 89%: It looks that I'm missing 1% of max fire res and don't know from where. I know I'm still lvl 94 but I think I got the key passive skills set and my jewels give me +2%. This is not so problematic since I reach the cap with flask but I wonder what I'm missing.
  2. Spectres: I've saw that he only get one spectre summoned but actually with this build you can have up to 4. Why don't get them since you can mess up if BV stops.

Next improves I have in mind will be my boots since they got a lot of my fire res, but any advice will be appreciate. Also I have in mind to not invest a lot more in this build since it is quite op but also a bit boring, could you recommend any build that I could setup with my Templar and would be fun to play. Thank you all as always! This subreddit have made me enjoy a lot more this game 😄

Hi guys! First time playing a second build on a league and I tried building BV Minion Pact by Peuget2 (https://pobb.in/fPazkoHkSxqS)

I spent quite a lot of time trying to build it, crafting, trading and so on. And when I tried it my life is going down fast, can't run auras, and everything is a mess. This is my current pob: https://pobb.in/PytolcOQj1eQ

I appreciate any suggestion. I have another character and I can farm with it, so maybe I try to farm a lo until I get enough currency to build a higher budget build.

Hi, I’m trying to figure out what just happened to my PC and if there’s any chance to fix it without replacing hardware immediately.

I was using Google Drive in the background and launched Path of Exile (Steam). As soon as the game started loading, the PC froze and then went to a blue screen. It showed a percentage but got stuck at 0% for a while, then went to a black screen.

After that, I could reach the login screen and after entering my password, it would go black or BSOD again

Now I can only access BIOS and it no longer boots into Windows at all.

In BIOS, my main SSD is detected but shows as “SATAFIRM S11” (instead of its normal name). I’ve read this might be a firmware/SSD failure, but I’m not 100% sure. I also saw some suggestions like trying a different SATA cable or changing SATA ports.

I vaguely remember having a similar issue about a year and a half ago, and I think I ended up fixing it by messing around with partitions or something along those lines, but I honestly don’t really understand much about that side of things. I’m not sure if that could be related this time or if it’s even the same kind of problem.

Specs:

Ryzen 5 5600X

RTX 3060 12GB (MSI Gaming X)

MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max

16GB DDR4 3200MHz (2x8)

1TB PNY CS900 M.2 SATA SSD (current drive)

650W Corsair PSU (Gold)

Is there anything else I should try, or does this sound like a dead SSD?

I’ve been looking at SSDs like Samsung 990 Pro, WD SN850X (Gen4), and Kioxia Exceria Plus G4 (Gen5). Right now they’re all basically the same price in my area (~160–200€). Even the Gen5 is cheaper.

Since my board is PCIe 3.0 anyway, I think it won’t benefit from Gen5 speeds. Is there any reason to go for a Gen5 drive in this case, or is it still better to just stick with a solid Gen4 like Samsung/WD? I'm really lost and really need a new one in short term.
