Can someone pls test this combo: Emperor Fortress Heavy 7-60 LR

Launch it with a very slight tilt closer to the top of stadium.

Anticipated behavior: good chonk, good tank, can out stamina attackers, defence by evasion.

Anticipated issue: scrape a lot & fail.

I am considering on whether to invest into this combo, but it would require significant resources, so I just hoped someone who has this could take a look pls

👉👈

If you can't do heavy or Emperor- just testing how LR interacts with 7-60 would still be super appreciated

Thoughts on state of things

A lot of people feel pessimistic due to latest news about dev feedback on player retention. As well as people fearing projust RISE.

Honestly, project rise is whatever imo. Every game connected to clash universe so far had terrible monetization issues. So I wouldn't get hopes up just yet.

Player retention however, really is a problem, especially because we're entering another stale period. And I think this one hits into core issue of current gameplay. As of now you don't benefit much from playing with friends & social aspect is weak.

Now, hear me out. Devs traded ease of development of single player, in favor of co op experience. However, I think 90% of players play solo. And there isn't much of a reason not to, unless you wanna push leaderboards.

You never get attached to randoms you get, it isn't even often that you go past 1 rift together.

Rifts & monsters lack personality (I don't mean appearance, I mean personality) & are repetitive.

I don't think Community themselves know what they want.

I am not here to be pessimistic. Quite the opposite actually. Dev team are actually really smart & attentive. So instead of calling game dying- try to give constructive feedback. After all, reason we are playing on small scale Is for them to gather data

Chippy ratchet concept (for CX only ratchet)

It will mitigate CX hight issue, however only for stamina & defense types, since attack type bits won't fit.

It isn't as exposed as a normal 4 sided ratchet, but twist handles still allow it to burst. The bit fits in snug & does not rotate.

As you can see - it is also more likely to scrape against rails.

The chip insertion mechanic is only needed to make it only compatible with CX beys. Due to chip insertion - it will be harder to burst than simple ratchets. However, non rotating bit will be kinda easier to burst & more vulnerable to rails.

All that being said, while this changes how CX bey gets hit - the weight is still all on top & assist blades would scrape easier. So, I wouldn't expect top tier stamina performance. But it could create some Great defense beys. For example:

  1. Leon Fang H CP-25 UN. Since now Fang would have a more similar geometry to Golem.

  2. Knight Fortress W CP-25 GB. As evasive defense

Why isn't Free assist blade seen as top tier on lvl of heavy & wheel?

Like, CX issue is that it's too tall (see picture 3) However if you take a look - a lot of attacks will hit exactly into the assist blade, which is what you want for free spin defense. Like OG silver Wolf was run on 70 ratchet & this is like that.

So let's say you do Emperor Fortress Free 7-60 LR. Sure, your stamina is low, but I feel like the defense will be super maxed and with LR - fights into stamina aren't completely hopeless.

Pls lemme know if I'm onto something or missing something critical

PS: I understand that by passing up on Heavy & using Emperor chip - I end up with center of mass higher up & overall less. But this build isn't trying to go for chonk, it's going for more so evasive wiggly defense, sort of like rod on rush which I had a ton of success on.

Caine could have given each character their perfect body, but he chose not to & it's a lil sad

If each character started off in a good body - it would have made things a ton easier for them.

Gangle as anime girl.

Jax as an emo bunny girl with a gun.

Ragatha as an aesthetic girl with a horse npc.

Pomni as a simplistic girl with a camera npc.

Kinger as a scientist in lab coat & a PC in his room.

Zooble as shapeshifter with limitations (she is a lil like that, but c'mon mr potato style isn't really shape shifter. Besides, she was closest to her need & adapted better than anyone imo)

Caine wasn't in any kind of rush. When intelligent AI aka brain scan arrives - he had all the time he wanted to give it a body & properly introduce it.

But, ig it makes sense that he did a half-ahh job at that. After all, his downfall was that he didn't care for intelligent AIs as much as he should have. He didn't try to help them. He just used them as toys & just made them as whatever he felt like he could use them as a role in circus. After all, cumircus is where everyone is entertained & faving fun, right?

Tbh, I was just thinking of myself in their shoes. Like, if he gave me a pretty girl body or at least something related to what I find cool, such as raccoon or a bunny - I'd adjust pretty easily. However, if he gave me something like what pomni has - I'd struggle a Lot more.

Ratchet concept B-80

I think 80 height should be able to fit in the metal bearing and also be balanced for the fact that it has extra weight.

Idea is that such ratchet should allow you to actually have meaningful weight distribution impact via the ratchet.

It's intended for smash attackers, like Dran buster, Unicorn Deltta, Bohamed blitz. Should allow you to make their weight more/less even.

More even weight means that you gain a lil stamina, hence you can use a low bit, like LR & compensate for extra ratchet height.

Another use case is to put it on something like Holem rock for more weight & better pocket recovery.

Would it be a goid tradeoff?? Idk, but would be a ton of fun to find out imo.

(Also idk if such has been suggested, if so - well, great minds think alike ig)

PS: smoothed out edge is to compensate for bigger protrusion size a lil bit

Stimmy Wrench

This weapon may not be meta, but it is peak for different reasons

u/Bo405 — 18 days ago

First maxed weapon

It ain't much for some people here, but as a seni casual player who doesn't really grind - this is good.

It's the weapon I always used in expedition because it's the fastest way to get dailies done

This badge is best so far. Unfortunate it comes out with a random dude skin. Feels wasteful :(

Lowkey, if they put it out on its own - I would buy it. But luke 5 bucks for a skin I will never use seems bad

What is a good place to buy custom stickers?

Sometimes there are beyblades where I don't like chip design a lot. Like, hornet, for example, cause hornets make me feel uneasy.

Yes, ik, dumb reason & I feel a bit ashamed. Doesn't matter. Just please lemme know a reliable source of stickers

Stop killing the weak mobs, when npc is fighting it

It's not just these, it goes for yellow spirits too.

Like, look, rn this lil bum is safely beating up a can, it is fine & your quest is getting done with each hit.

If you destroy the Kan/Bug/pot/Drag or whatever- it will go search for danger on its bum. And it Will run into a stronger enemy, potentially a boss that one shots it.

Ik most players probably won't read this, but if you do - pls think

This is genuinely waay too far

I have completed every job for 2 months, but This! Oh hell nah. I already spent half an hour after all other quests doing this & I am not even half way. Like oh my bloody gawd .

Was at tournament with this combo, here are results

Local meta is very agro heavy and full of top tier beys & combos, so bare that in mind.

Golem rock showed itself as a carry & a top tier. Unite bit is Exactly what it needs. 3-60 is snug & didn't burst on me or anything. Can recommend.

Dran dagger was the weakest link this time. I did not any good matchups on it. It really did not deliver. But I think part of it is skill issue on my side for sure. Another part is that 4-60 is bad & it burst.

Green stock combo Rod did decently. It didn't win any stamina matchups (cause ofc enemies had hexa). But it did beat defense types with stamina & was wiggly defense against attack.

I will use this same combo next tournament & I think I can do better. It ain't top tier, but it is competitive & affordable. I am low on money, so it matters.

You can get same combo with:

(FYI I use CAD)

  1. Hasbro extreme stadium $80 Amazon

  2. Rock golem booster $11 in Walmart

  3. Leon Fang $11 Walmart

4 Wizard Rod $19 Amazon

+ $15 for launcher

Total: $136

Which is a stomachable entry price to a hobby nowadays.

PS

My personal next best improvement is new mold phoenix wing set. I got it for $21on Amazon. That will give my Rod a hexa & replace Dagger with a much more competitive attacker (normal phoenix 🐦‍ is a bit powercrept, but new mold mitigated that with more wight).

Final competitive bonus is that I will get Tyrano roar for $16. I will put 3-60 onto phoenix, while 9-60 will go to Golem.

(Or so is my plan 😅)

Would be lovely to see more people enjoy the hobby :)

Hornbow kit makes no sense at all

This weapon soends half time single target & half time AOE.

It is meant to be used at distance, but pushes you close.

You need to be far away for the heal tho & you need many enemies.

The slow on heal is good into a crowd fight, but this weapon is not good at fighting a crowd

4 target dps test with main aoe weapons

Here's the thing tho:

Zapsicle has best dps easily, However it only applies this damage in a cone shape of the charged attack. So in practice it's use is limited.

Singularity is second best, however, the area of the aoe is small. It is just the area of the pull, so realistically you can pull in 5-6 mobs. You can't pull bosses. So use is limited by the potency of the pull.

Bloodsucker is next best. It doesn't get an early game huge boost, but it is Really good at maintaining the dps. It also applies it over a good area. Great amount of use cases

Techno fists seems like an odd placement, but it really isn't. Unlike the first 3 - it's long ranged. So in real battle - it's dps remains same & doesn't really drop because of the enemy aoe attacks. It also isn't demanding in terms of enemy positioning. And a speed boost is a great survival tool. So over time the sheer consistency is a significant advantage. And ability to stunlock is huge, as well as ability to do single target occasionally. It depends on enemies though.

Hornbow performance may seem like it is better than techno at first, but in this test - it was heavily reliant on the dash. Dash has very small aoe, it also leaves you in a vulnerable spot because you can't use your breath attack on one you are close to. Main attack is pitiful & it makes rage a lil lame on its own. You can't recharge ult, so downtime is guaranteed. I think this weapon aoe ability is somwhere on par with speedshot ish. So not competitive, but depending on gameplay, is not a throw either.

These are my findings & observations. If you proove me completely wrong - I'll just delete the post XD.

But if you have corrections or stuff to add - 100% do so pls :)

Bloodsucker is good

The playstyle is solid. The kit makes sense & encourages synnergy.

The only thing is that it's healing is so abundant that it makes skill floor quite low. You can full heal from only 4 targets.

But I understand why, the season is built around this weapon. Not only there are 5-6 skins around it, as well as animation attention & a design that is built for target audience.

That being said - skill ceiling is quite good. The thing is that 3rd skill lowers your dps, meaning that if you can avoid using it - you will do better.

(It does same damage as main attack, but has twice the cooldown, so you loose 1 hit worth of dps per target)

But it depends, because 3rd skill has more reach, so if you can increase number of targets - you can gain benefit.

It also encourages synnergy, because now Healing is actually useful for dps. And out of the 2 singularity has a comparable dps & is also close range & is aoe, but more importantly, it can heal with minimal cost to dps. So that's some food for thought.

To me strong ≠ good. When I say good, I mean healthy for the game. And I think bloodsucker is.

I think best approach is to wait till season end & then reduce the ult radius by 10%. But in the end, if that's the best weapon in game - it's okay.
