A lot of people say game is plain rn. Yes, that's the point of current dev stage

In interview Joao said that they purposefully released the game in a very vanila lackluster state. They want to see how players behave before implementing their ideas. Current lack of content is on purpose.

Expedition is in a temporary state awaiting a rework. Mode is not replayable enough. It gets boring over time & they are aware & want to fix.

Rifts are simple, but they are seen as a keystone of the game & will be worked on. Making rifts like Glutton one is not sustainable rn. But they are testing seeing how to go about it.

So instead if you wanna complain about lack of content- post ideas & feedback on existing stuff instead

Happy

Took so much effort, especially yesterday, but at last, I have it

Not a single girl outfit in whole event :(

This just sucks

Ik it is better value for guys now, but for girls whole event is basically nonexistent

(besides weapon skins & mount ig)

This skin doesn't shoot from the hose

In Otis skins he shoots from center of his body. So, normal skins center the pipe in such way that that's where shots come out of.

But not this one. This skin always has the glove to the left

What is the Worst look you can make?

I wanted to rate my 12 outfits as 1-10. But for that - it takes an outfit to be a 1 out of 10. However, I realized that there isn't really a great way to do that. Even my worst attempt looks like a 3/10 feel. Like sure, colors don't match, but it isn't That bad.

And, I think, it's fair. The devs did a great job at making it hard to mess up.

But maybe there's some of you who can do better (or worse ig)

PS: don't just post bearded models in girly dresses, gender non conforming & ugly are not the same thing

Peacock or ibis or whatever it is doesn't belong here

I am so happy for this achievement

It took so much effort to complete, but gawd does it feel good to have done all the dojos for my weapon

We could have a rift where one player is permanently turned into Big-T. Sorta like in Kaiju movie

This will achieve several things:

  1. one of 3 runs will be different for you, making the rifts more replayable

  2. With 1 player dps far above the rest - support classes become more viable to clear out mobs & not waste mech time on it, as well as keep it running against an OP boss

  3. If these are used A lot - they can be something to sell cosmetics for

  4. more new player friendly. Since you don't need cores in mech - new players get no dps disadvantage

PvE game can have nerfs, that is normal & important for horizontal progression (read description)

A lot of people here fail to understand that nerfs & buffs are 2 sides of same coin

Let's say we have weapons A B & C.

If I buff weapon C - it's the same thing as nerfing A & B.

Because A & B are now less viable compared to C.

Also, with average game dps going up - so will the monster HP. And if monster hp goes up, but weapon dps doesn't - that's same as a nerf.

(So if weapon A is too strong, nerfing A &buffing everything else - will yield exactly same result.

And doing it Is important because if a weapon is OP - it means it will just get spammed, making horizontal progression pointless, since why ever bother unlocking anything else. Once you have the most OP weapon - you just win the game)

I find it quite concerning that devs still haven't addressed these 2

These are 2 very well known issues, even they are 100% aware & choose to not prioritize it.

But pvp is just a garbage experience. And a low complexity weapon wrecking game meta.

I was willing to wait a month ish & we did get a maintenance, but here we are.

Another important note. This is a pve game, so unlike brawl - it doesn't need maintenance for balance changes since even if servers do not get new change at once - it's fine.

If this game takes horizontal progression route - it can't afford yo have a weapon that does almost everything, since that fully invalidates progression. And being so low skill long ranged - it invalidates the effort

Higher difficulty close combat weapons should be more damaging/rewarding

There should be a better reward for putting yourself in danger by being in enemy face.

And also a higher reward for skill expression.

Like why use a more complex weapon, if in the end it's speedshot that gets you onto leaderboard. (Ik mastery and all, but still)

Damage buff based on range & complexity is an easy fix. Since seeing pros use 5 star weapons is a ton more fun for everyone.

My suggestions of 15% dmg buff:

  1. Singularity TP splash

  2. Headbanger main attack

  3. zapsicle explosion

Part of problem is also that headbanger & singularity only have one dps focued core each.

So this buff is also meant to compensate for that.

(I skipped squid blades due to inconclusive data on my side)

Ughh, this is not good. It's going to be so diabolical, for players & for team

Like, genuinely, there hasn't been a single rift where this can get 5 stars without ultra hard carry 😭

Constructive progression chat. Want concepts & ideas

Would be unfair to ask & provide none of mine, so here are some:

  1. Mods. Lore way is that you homebrew fiddle with the weapon & do some risky tweaks. So as a result - you get a buff & a nerf. For example: you fiddle with Singularity. Now you do more damage on teleport, but there's a small chance you will be teleported a bit too far & loose a lil health.

  2. YOLO attachment. The idea is that you replace healing ability with something that does damage. For example: now instead of healing you explode & you either knock mobs back & if it's a boss - then you get knocked back. Or with headbanger, instead of main attack heal - it does more damage & bigger aoe.

  3. Consumables. Basically there's a ton of consumables you can stack up on that can give all kinds of temporary buffs, like heal spawnable, turtle, techno fists kinda thing, swap weapon for 7 seconds, etc...

So stacking up on these for events, difficult rifts & spending them smart is the benefit long term players get. It also encourages team play to be less wasteful.

  1. Leadership chip. Each weapon, once fully maxed of cores - allows you to unlock another ability button via spending some cores. This button gives a temporary team buff when clicked. (Unavailable in pvp) This way, even though it is a power progression stat buff - because it spreads to your immediate teammates- you can still play with anyone.

Horizontal progression is good for this game

Vertical progression drawbacks:

  1. worse matchmaking. Because now there's another limiting factor & a bigger frustration potential.

  2. Higher new player entry difficulty, so it's not easy to get friends into the game

  3. more complex & grindy resource economy. In reality- more power progression also means more resources. More resources will mean more gatcha to acquire them. Is that really the way for this game?..

  4. Worse weapon unlock experience, since it won't be usable right away

  5. Bigger power discrepancy as compared to people who took advantage of some exploits

I can see why some people feel like removal of big power progression left an emptiness in them. They loved the game, but it has changed.

I think this change is overall for better. As any change, it will loose some players :(

But I hope many of them can stay & play with us all together:)

And I hope there's many more new players to come :)

Anti afk farm pass + more interactive & pretty respawn

Basically when you die - it prompts you to complete the resurection magic circle to respawn. You complete it & the respawn countdown starts.

It will rotate among a whole bunch of 4 dot patterns.

And if you're stuck on this menu for like 2 minutes - it just kicks you into the lobby training area to attack dummies.

Another benefit is that it offers better respawn animation & an opportunity to have something to do for at least a tiny bit.

(As for controllers in future- it will be a lil different, some kinda button combination that resets each time you get it wrong)

u/Bo405 — 16 days ago

This one isn't that bad, here are some tips maybe

  1. don't attack enemy under shield. It charges their ult

  2. try to also use your ult right after their shield

  3. Try to dash to middle at the start

  4. Since there are no kills - pots are the source of win, so that's the key objective

These may sound overly simple, but if it help anyone- hey, why not

12 outfits max is terrible for game monetization & horizontal progression

I am f2p & I already have more than 12 I'd want to use.

But, like, think paying player.

3 slots are already occupied by weapon passes.

1 slot goes to some achievement set.

Let's say 2 slots for outfits you bought through mo gold.

That leaves only 6 slots. While we get enough cosmetics to fill more than 12 as f2p.

So like, why would I ever buy more outfits as a paying player, if I don't have slots for said outfits. To get a new outfit- I need to sack an existing one, so I am barely better than what I was.

I'd say outfits need to be per weapon. And there need to be at least 10 slots per weapon.

Cause these slots limits screw up game monetization.

New weapon release issue

Singularity is a decent weapon. Nothing over the top, but it has its place.

However, after unlocking it - the obvious first thought is "what can I do that I previously couldn't?"

And the caveat is that you start comparing new weapon to old ones that already have cores in them.

My solution is to give a temporary 1 universal overcharged core for each weapon. This way first impressions can be better & comparison more fair. The core will break in a week, but by then, you will have started to appreciate the weapon & have motivation to invest cores into it.
