I have a whole bunch of random gym leader 1st edition commons and not pictured here as well, I’m not sure how much they are worth. Does anyone have any reputable Canadian stores they would recommend? These are from when I was a kid. My little boy has cancer and times are extremely difficult.

I like heavier games but have had a difficult time getting them played. I’ve been to a number of meetups and gaming groups recently and all of them have balked at heavier games when I suggest to the group to play them.
I was at an event a while back where I suggested Scythe to a group of about 15 or so people and the only comments I got were ‘I don‘t want to play that‘ and ‘we needed to have started that earlier’. Despite this we then went on to play 4 shorter games that lasted 4 hours (more than enough time for Scythe). This was the lightest game I brought, I had a COiN, 18xx, HF4All, ASL, and others but I didn’t suggest them after getting balked at with Scythe. I would much rather play a complicated interesting game than a smorgasbord of light or party games.
This is the third event in a row (each a different group and location) where I bring a big bag of games, have enough time allotted, and no one is interested in any of them. How do you recommend getting these to the table?
Note: these have all been meetups with no active discord, or preplanning.

My numbers look good on my app, I switched from a nose only to a both nose and mouth setup. I wear a mouth guard for bruxism as well. It hasn’t made any difference and I’ve been wearing it religiously. Any advice?
It’s sad, and they don’t invest enough in balancing. It’s so much better now than before when some books would take a decade or more to get balanced.
I miss my gaming group, in 7th it looked like GW was turning the corner on balancing. Deathwatch, Dark Eldar, and Dark Angels were all quite balanced and came out in succession. but then Eldar came out with strength D everywhere, jetbikes, wraightknights, etc being obsurd. It was a major factor for killing 40K as we were all tired of being stomped with no effort because someone who balanced books has no idea what they are doing. I held on the longest, but I had 5 friends quit the game at that time. I know that’s unlikely to happen here, but I still feel the scars of that happening. and don't want to see it happen again.
