Looking for 2H Kotbs tips

Hey all,

Just came back to game again and this time around want to give 2H kotbs a whirl. I dont play warband just going to either solo roam or small scale with a few buddies. Im not really interested in zerg fights.

Anyway, just looking for tips on build/how to play the class. What is your rotation? Any skills I can ignore? Whats your take on leveling as 2H kotbs vs end game?

Im fully aware I wont be as effective as 2H but the aesthetic of the class alone has always intrigued me so want to try it out. Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Whats a good strat for Kingsmarch shipping?

Ive read a bunch of stuff about going for tattoos is really good. The most common thing I see is mentioning of 4mil shipments, but I keep reading different stuff.

Some say get 4 mil value of bars and ship it. Ive read 4 mil value shipment in terms of both bars and dust combined, then Ive read you want 4 million value of bars + 4 million dust together.

Does anyone know what is best strat?

KoX PvP - How are you dealing with the CC?

Hi all,

Enjoying the server. KoX damage is outrageous, but people are figuring out just slow and im done. I dont feel I have many tools to deal with the massive CC chains or kiting classes that can just perma slow me.

I tried using the movement pestilence but it doesnt seem to slow near enough. Anyone I pull just bounces away, so I am struggling a bit to stick on a target.

Any spec options or higher level talents that could help? Im not a great player but I am enjoying the BG leveling. Appreciate any KoX PvP knowledge you can share!

Looking for melee pvp focused class advice CoA

Hi all,

My buddies convinced me to give this CoA server a try. I like mostly pvp, but with latest hand injuries I struggle more than I use to.

I like the tanky melee bruiser archetype. The less buttons the better for me these days. Just a simple to play hulk smash kind of life.

Seems there are a lot of options so just wanted to ask here to get a better idea of what class would fit best. I'm more pvp focused than pve. Any recommendations would be great! Appreciate your time

How can I make my POB timeless jewel search to force to find the same notable multiple times?

Hey all, so I know the basics on how to search for a timeless jewel. However, I dont know how to force POB to say hey I want "insert desired notable" multiple times.

Heres what im looking at in POB:

What do I need to change here so "Commanding Presence" would be in say at least 2 notables?

Any guides on how to play the Obj 287?

I wanted to try a "melee" tank. I like going in and ramming. The pull with this Obj 287 is hilarious and im having a blast. I think this is the tank I want to main its just a good time.

Im looking for any help on how to be most effective. What do you recommend on using? Im only 13 so far so I need to unlock a lot of stuff.

Any suggestions on what to use, such as do you like the auto heal or the manual ones? I dont even know what the other equipment does? Any suggestions on these would be great.

Also, anything that can help me be more effective on the 287 would be much appreciated. My damage/score is usually pretty low. I try to go into the back lines and hit the little sniper boys, but I tend to get immobilized and just rekt lol. Ramming seems to do meh kind of damage. Am I just not going fast enough while doing it? Sometimes seems okay to shoot while going in hard, ram back up and then harpoon.

One thing I really dont know what to do is where im locked into a front to front kind of battle with a tankier boy. If the ram doesnt kill and im stuck in this engaged melee combat im struggling there.

Please any advice you can give for a total tank noob would be great. I dont really know any of the acronyms for this game so keep that in mind. Ive browsed a few posts and sometimes get confused on the verbage. Who wouldve known a man that enjoys smashing into tanks isnt very bright lol.

Appreciate any tips you can give for a wannabe 287 smasher!

For those who have played these kind of tanks do you have any advice for me? Well actually, any general advice for a new player in general would be great too. Game is kind of fun im enjoying myself so far.

Hi all,

I started playing 40k a few months ago. So far Ive bought the combat patrol, Trajann, shield captain and the Vertus Praetors bikes.

So for now my pieces are looking like:

Trajann Valoris
Blade Champion
Shield Captain
5 Custodian Guard
5 Custodian Wardens
3 Allarus Custodians
3 Vertus Praetors

Without adding any additional attachments and stuff that brings me to a 1230 point army. Right now normally my friend group is doing 2v2s with each person bringing 1000 points, but in case we go up to the 1v1 matchup I want to be able to put together a 2k army.

What would you recommend I start looking to add next? I really dig the Custodes army so I want to add to it. Is there anything you feel each Custodes army should have? Should I just wait it out until 11th comes out to see what that has in store for us?

Its been a lot of fun so far so cant wait to add more!

Hey all, I wanted to give RoR another go. Ive read on forums there was a tank rework? Ive never really enjoyed the warband life I tend to go solo or get a small group with friends. Its okay I get blasted 99% of the time as long as I can find a few fights.

I wanted to try a 2H tank the theme of that always interests me. The easier the class is to play the better. I know tanks have a good amount to think about already between guard/punts etc, so the less focus I have on my damage rotation the better.

My buddy wants to try Order so I think probably SM or Kotbs? I think IB has a lot of buttons to manage with their buffs so Im not so sure about that one.

SM was always the "best" smally 2H tank on order if I remember right. However Im not sure how I feel about their class mechanic. If any 2H SMs could break down what your moves are that would be very helpful.

Kotbs seems like it would easier since you dont have to worry about stances. However, from what Im reading their damage basically doesnt exist. Is that still the case after the rework? Same as SM if any Kotbs players could break down your moves I would appreciate it!

Edit: Forgot to ask about farming. Any farming tips and which class would be better for it? I want to make sure I can afford buff pots and stuff.

I would appreciate any information you all can give. Thanks!
