Recent NIFT graduate exploring UI/UX opportunities in Bangalore

Hi everyone,

I recently graduated from NIFT with a degree in Product Design and have been exploring UI/UX and Product Design opportunities in Bangalore.

Over the past 1.5 years, I interned at Zuntra Digital (UI/UX) and Smartivity Labs (Product Design), where I worked on user research, wireframes, prototypes, design systems, usability testing, and end-to-end product design. Most of my work has been in Figma, along with Illustrator and Photoshop.

Since many people in this community work in design and tech, I'd love to hear:

What hiring platforms have worked best for UI/UX roles in Bangalore?
Are there any companies that are actively hiring fresh graduates or junior designers?
Any advice that helped you land your first product design role?

My Persian cat got attacked by a stray male cat last night.

My 1-year-old Persian cat, Gopi, was attacked by a male stray cat last night. My mother woke up and separated them almost immediately. Today she’s been sleeping most of the day in her favorite spot beside our home temple, resting her head against it. She’s eating treats, drinking water, responding to sounds, and even jumped onto a chair and played a little earlier. But she’s definitely quieter than usual. I also noticed a slight limp at times, and when I touched her, she meowed like something hurt. I’m not sure if it’s her leg, stomach, or if she’s just sore from the fight. I haven’t found any visible wounds yet, but she’s a Persian and her fur is very thick. She’s fully vaccinated, including rabies.
For people who have been through this before, is this normal behavior after a cat fight, or should I be more concerned about a hidden injury or bite wound?

Honestly, I’ve been worried about her all day.
