Is it just me, or is the new WS Visa accepted at literally no online vendors?

*** I'm talking about the WS Prepaid Card, not the Visa, sorry for confusion ***

Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure I used to have 3 cards through WealthSimple. A virtual card, a physical card, and a card for Apple Pay.

Now, I have a physical card, and a card # for Apple Pay. Not the "virtual card" anymore.

I used to have I think the virtual card set up for autopay on TELUS, I had it set up with my Apple Account, etc. Now, everywhere I enter the new WealthSimple card, its rejected. I can't even hook it up with PayPal now.

I could be totally mistaken on how I'm understanding this. Is this true? Am I missing something or using the wrong card, or is this a real limitation? If it is, I'm moving my cash account out because this is unworkable. Thanks

I signed a lease in BC without a lease-break clause. I'm considering ending my tenancy early. How can I do this?

Hi all,

I recently moved to Burnaby from Calgary. We have a beautiful condo that we love, but the Skytrain noise is way too much for my wife (and honestly for me as well!)

When we initially viewed the condo, I didn't notice it - but living here for a few months now has become unbearable. I work from home, and the skytrain screeches past our balcony once every minute it would seem. We're looking for something longer term, but this isn't it.

How do I approach this with the landlord? My understanding is if the lease doesn't specify anything different, we just need to focus on finding a new tenant. Is that right?

I'm super happy to continue to pay rent here until a new tenant is found of course, as this will be inconvenient for the landlord - but just looking for general guidance ATP.

Thanks!

Reddit is FULL of perpetually online, negative losers.

It's so hilarious how no matter what you post on Reddit, there always is some perpetually online, underachieving loser with something negative or insulting to say.

I just went on the r/PorterAirlines sub to write a post about how much better Porter is compared to Flair. I noted that I was a frequent flier, and was extremely impressed with Porter's CS. I was inundated with comments about how the thread was "ridiculous", and on how I should have known the difference between an ULCC and Porter. It also included comments such as "If you were REALLY a frequent flier, you would know the difference."

The post was literally only written to give Porter credit for great customer service.

I honestly wonder who these people are in real life and what it must be like to have a conversation with them (if they ever leave their basements). Just constant, perpetual negativity. I took Reddit off of my phone because its changed so much over the years. I used to find Reddit a genuinely interesting place where people could discuss things openly - now, its no different than any other social media platform.
