First Build

Just wrapped up my first cabinet build last week. It’s been functional for a while and my kids and I are having a blast with it. But the final aesthetic touches got put off a few times.

I always loved arcade games but my parents giving me quarters to feed the machines was a non-starter so after all these years of pining for one I decided to just build my own.

I had a lot of fun building it and learned a lot along the way. I fully expect I’ll do another one sometime down the road. This one isn’t perfect but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Best Lessons?

I’ve golfed most of my life. Pre-kids and pre-covid I played quite a bit more and could occasionally hit in the 80s. Since, however, I haven’t played but a couple times. Kids are old enough now that I can afford a bit more time out on the course.

I’ve been to the range a few times and just don’t have it anymore. No club speed, no consistency, a frequent push/slice.

Anyway, anyone have a good spot for lessons for someone who just needs some swing tooling and not a day one build?

ETA: Location isn’t super important but reasonably close to University is ideal.

Might have to send the old Coleman stove out to pasture.

Got a 17” to add to the lineup for taking out and about. Worked like a charm on our camping trip this weekend.

Read the Listing - Don’t just look at the pictures

Hilarious posting, house is extremely sad to look at. The Zillow listing got taken down but I found it on this other site.

I apologize for being a hater

My buddy converted me and man I was dead wrong. My first two cooks I used my entire 36” cook top for two absolute banger meals. I think I’ve used it every day for two weeks.
