Price check: ASUS ROG Strix G614JV G16 — India

I'm looking to check the current resale value of my gaming laptop. I'm not in a hurry to sell, but if I get a good price, I'm considering selling it and building a gaming PC instead.

Specifications:

- Model: ASUS ROG Strix G16 (G614JV)

- CPU: Intel Core i9-13980HX

- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060 8GB

- RAM: 16GB DDR5 5600MHz

- Storage: 1TB SSD

- Display: 2.5K resolution

- Age: Approximately 2 years

Condition:

The laptop is in 100% perfect condition. It's never been carried around or used outside; I've only used it on my desk for gaming.

I have the original bill, box, charger, and all the accessories that came with it.

I'll attach some pictures of the laptop as well.

What would be a realistic resale price for this laptop in India? I'd appreciate estimates based on recent sales of similar models, rather than just listing prices. I'm only checking prices for now and will sell if I get a good offer.

Thanks!

ViewSonic replacement monitor arrived with a dead pixel — what should I do?

After almost 2 months of waiting for a warranty replacement from ViewSonic India, I finally received the replacement unit today.

Unfortunately, while testing it, I noticed one bright/dead green pixel that is clearly visible on a black screen.

The monitor is a ViewSonic VX2758A-2K-PRO-3.

I've attached a photo showing the pixel.

This is especially frustrating because the original monitor had a manufacturing defect, and I had to wait almost two months for the replacement. ViewSonic had also confirmed that the replacement would be a new unit.

What should I do now?

Should I report this to ViewSonic and request another replacement, or does their pixel policy allow a single dead/bright pixel?

Has anyone here had a similar experience with ViewSonic India, particularly with the VX2758A-2K-PRO-3?

Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.

Got analog/gamepad functionality working on my RK M75 HE

A while back I was researching whether it was possible to get true analog input and gamepad-style functionality from Hall Effect keyboards. I came across several Reddit discussions but never found a definitive answer.

I'm happy to report that I've managed to get it working on my RK Royal Kludge x MechLands M75 HE. The core functionality is working, although I still have some testing and refinement to do before I consider the project fully complete.

Since some of the older threads I found were archived or never received a follow-up, I figured I'd leave this post here for anyone researching the same topic in the future.

Has anyone else experimented with analog input or controller-style functionality on Hall Effect keyboards?

Added screenshots showing the current state of the project. Windows detects the virtual Xbox 360 controller correctly, and the analog emulation layer is operational. There's still testing and cleanup left before I'd consider it fully complete, but the core concept is working as intended.
