Whats the avg placement ctc and placement rate in hit kolkata?

Hey everyone,

I'm in a bit of a dilemma and would really appreciate some guidance.

I passed my Class 12 board exams from my state boards, but unfortunately I fell short of the 75% criteria. Because of that, I'm considering appearing for all five subjects through NIOS in the April 2027 session.

However, I have a couple of concerns:

• My bigger concern is JoSAA counselling. It usually starts in June, and document verification deadlines are often around the last week of June. NIOS results are also declared in June. Looking at previous years, the results have been announced on June 21 (2024), June 15 (2025), and June 4 (2026), but I'm still worried about what would happen if the result gets delayed.

• NIOS exams are conducted around April-May, which is also when JEE Main Session 2 takes place. Has anyone here faced any clashes between NIOS board exams and JEE Main?

Has anyone gone through a similar situation? Were you able to complete JoSAA counselling without any issues after appearing for the NIOS April session?

• This year I have seen some cases where students' results were marked RL (Result Later) or got delayed, which created problems during college admissions. I have also seen a few cases where students did not receive admission confirmation until the last moment. How common are such issues, and should I be concerned about them?

Does NIOS really affect placement after doing bsc from a nice college like imu navi mumbai or tmi. Or only college performance is preferred after doing bsc.

Hello guys I completed my my 12th from WB board but I failed to get 75% for jee. So want to take addmission in nios april 2027. I am from Kolkata. Which study centre should I prefer ? I mean I hope they give me full marks for tma and practicals and good exam experience. Pls help.
