Can a CBSE School Demand June Tuition + Improvement/Compartment Fees?

A Class 12 CBSE student's board exams ended in April, and all fees up to April were paid.

The school is now demanding tuition fees up to June along with separate Improvement/Compartment exam fees, and says the admit card will only be issued after payment.

No classes will be conducted during this period, and the student will receive no academic support or services from the school—only the demand for additional tuition fees.

Is this allowed under CBSE rules? Even if it is legally permitted, is it morally fair?

Has anyone faced a similar situation?

PLEASE READ THIS ITS IMPORTANT⚠️⚠️ what if we"ll use IT-cell tactics for awareness instead of propaganda? (check the body) 🌷📖🇮🇳

i had a random thought.

political it cells are really good at making simple posters and forwards that reach older people , uneducated religious extremist and those who don't follow the news much.

what if we did the same thing, but for awareness?

you know those "share this 5 times or 😈" messages? imagine replacing them with simple posts showing facts, broken promises, important issues, and what's actually happening in the country—regardless of which party is in power.

not to spread hate. just to make more people aware and encourage them to think for themselves.

with so much outrage over student deaths, paper leaks and exam scams, why is celebrity india still silent?

Not posting this to spread hate.

With student deaths, paper leak controversies, massive protests, and huge public outrage affecting lakhs of students, it's hard not to notice the silence from many celebrities, cricketers, and influencers.

Do they have a responsibility to speak up, or is their silence justified?

As a Hindu, I believe years of political messaging and selective media coverage have made many Indians quick to blame Muslims for problems while ignoring positive stories, helping politicians keep voters divided and distracted from issues of governance and accountability. 🌷📖🇮🇳

Before anyone labels me anti-Hindu or pro-Muslim, I want to make it clear that I am a Hindu myself and this is not about supporting one religion over another.

I just feel that too many of us are being encouraged to see each other as enemies. When a Muslim does something wrong, an entire community gets blamed. When Muslims help others or contribute positively, those stories rarely get the same attention.

Meanwhile, ordinary Indians stay divided while politicians benefit from the polarization. Instead of hating each other, we should judge people by their actions and focus on helping one another. A stronger India comes from unity, not suspicion.

OSM is “flawless” but CBSE can’t even keep the reevaluation site running

Students can’t even open their own answer sheets because the reevaluation site keeps crashing.

Now imagine the teachers during checking — same lag, same crashes, strict deadlines, poorly scanned copies, and pressure from CBSE. One mistake could lead to action against them, and their family depends on that job.

In that rush and fear, mistakes were bound to happen.

If we are struggling with the system despite growing up with technology, imagine non-tech-savvy teachers handling thousands of copies.

Yet CBSE still calls OSM “flawless.”
