So ive had lip incompetence from the beginning of my recovery, and it has not resolved. It is actually worse than it was pre-op. I am still happy with my result for the most part, but I am increasingly concerned about this. My teeth meet far before my lips do, and im constantly straining the muscle behind my nose/ above my top lip to prevent my lips from going completely lax and ending up drooling etc.

The kicker is that my surgeon does not think its a big deal. He said theres nothing he can do about it, it wasnt something he could predict, and he literally said its "not a disaster".

Another thing that this has alerted me to is that I was never told to do jaw exercises. At one of my post-op check ups, I think around 6 weeks out, I asked if I should be thinking about physio therapy, and was told that it was far too early to think about that and not to worry about it. Since then it was never brought up. Have I been neglected? Could this damage my results?

I've been feeling pretty mistreated about any concern I've had. I havent been reassured about things, just told that im being a overly-anxious and expecting perfection. 😞

so I know that this is very contraversial and that there are a few young people doing this to look "snatched" but I have a fairly unique case. I had double jaw surgery a year ago, and an unexpected result of that has been the descent of my cheek fat pads. There is now a heavy amount of fat that sits around my nasal base area and it is very visible. I am by no means going for a snatched look, I just want the tissue to be lifted to a more normal position for someone my age.

I assumed it was swelling for a while, but now its pretty evidently not swelling from the time that has passed and the feeling of it.

Im hoping for some recommendations for surgeons that are excellent at tissue repositioning, as this is a fairly un-routine case and I want to make sure I'm in great hands. I am in the UK but would also take recommendations for surgeons in Europe.

Hello everyone 😄
I would love to be pointed in the direction of any sapphic folklore stories, fairytales, traditions etc that you are aware of ! Or otherwise literature that relates to this. I was suprised to find that my own search didn't come up with very much initially.

Thank you<3

I'm a 24 year old woman who has always dealt with excessively oily skin, ever since I was a preteen. A couple days ago, I noticed my skin has become almost dry and it has stayed that way for several days. I havent made any diet changes, Im sleeping at a better time every night, Ive been a bit mentally healthier, no major product/actives changes. I've recently made an effort my face in a less-hot temperature water. I double cleanse, and I use BOJ sunscreen multiple times a day.

On one hand Im very pleased as it was an annoying level of oiliness, but Im also concerned about the extreme shift, and want to know what could have caused this.

Theres a couple of actives in my cleanser: salicylic acid, niacinamide, kaolin clay, and other than that I only use a leave-on salicylic acid. I've been using salicylic acid and niacinamide for years with no signs of dryness.

The only time Ive ever had skin this lacking oil is when I went on accutane when I was 14. I am really baffled??

I hope its okay that I include some examples !

Im looking to get some small and delicate tattoos, starting off with an Adventure Time one. Im not looking to get any of these examples done, but I wanted some recommendations for artists that are known for a similar art style. All the examples are a bit different from eachother, but I love each of the styles so would be happy with any

I am happy to travel outside of Bristol for something really similar, but close-ish would be ideal

Thank you !
