Just beat scourge of armagon

I got the quake bundle during steam's autumn sell (it was only 24 bucks!) and I've been starting to play all the expansion packs in the order they came out. I just beat scourge of armagon. And. Is the final boss really that easy?? At the ending levels I was on really low health all the time while only on normal mode so I'm not a very good quake player but still the final boss was easy as shit. Kinda disappointed. Though. To be honest. Quake isn't that known for it's bosses anyway. Pretty fun expansion pack though! I wish the music was better.

Baby red ant disappeared??

>!I was making a little zipline outpost for going around the map better and suddenly my baby red ant disappeared. I have pet invisibility on so it couldn't have died. No icon no nothing. When I did a game repair it brought back my pet weevil that was just wondering around the map after I got the baby ant. (I didn't realize i would get a new pet when I befriended the ant Queen and then I saw that the baby ant had double the inventory of the weevil so I just left the weevil there lol) Is there anyway to get the baby ant back? And is also a way to avoid this happening again?!<

Half life 1 has been super frustrating to me.

I've been getting really into the story and lore of the half life series and decided to finally get into it. But I've been having a lot of trouble trying to have any fun in this game. 90% of the time I feel like I'm banging my head against the wall until by some miracle I finally progress. The other 10% of the time is extremely fun but then I die in a stupid way and since I forgot to save every 20 seconds I lose 20 minutes of progress that I have to re do. Plus it feels like I'm on <10 HP all the time. Is this just a me thing or is this a game thing? What can I do to get out of this rut?

edit: I figured it out! I've been playing half life as if it were doom. I saw this one comment on a video basically saying, "you aren't doomguy. You are gorden Freeman. A theoretical phyisict. Act like one."

Sorry for the really poor quality it was so funny I couldn't focus and just went for the fastest thing.

Context: this is the cutscene that happens after you do that "Get gus 2 dozen eggs" quest

I'm really bad at puzzle games. Should I get portal?

So I'm really really bad at puzzle games. Everytime I play one I rack my brain and bang my head against the wall for like 30 minutes before finding out that the answer was right in front of me the entire time and I feel extremely stupid for the entire game until it's finally finished. But portals universe and story has always interested me! So, even if I'm really bad at puzzle games, should I still get portal?

Edit: guys I know what Portal is
