What features is Proton Calendar Missing?

So, I never had a calendar app before. Proton seems pretty good (except for the premium only color customizing...) but I hear many people say it's lacking in features. I tried Zolo, which doesn't seem to be significantly different. I haven't tried big tech ones. So, what are those features P Cal is missing from bigger Cal apps ? So I can get an idea on how to compare it to other apps.

Sub-question: if you're using Nextcloud cal, does it have more features that Proton's? How does it compare?

Thank you

Looking for a free RSS reader that sends a notification when an article matches a keyword

Hi, so there's this feature of Inoreader premium where you can define rules and if a new article from a feed matches it, it sends a notification. Is there any app that could do that for free? I find free apps have most RSS features but this one, I can't find, despite some apps being able to both have keyword matching and notification sending individually. Do you know any free RSS reader that would work? Tbh even a PC software or website I'd be interested. Thank you.

Morphe crashes on launch

Hi, some days ago a Morphe update was available (1.37 I think?? On Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Android 10) but after installing it, Morphe Manager just crashes when I open it and it starts loading the main screen. I cannot do anything inside the manager. Should I reinstall it? Will I lose anything like the inventory of my patched apps or patch sources? Any other solution?

My art of Neurosam- ahem, "-chan" from my GMTK gamejam game about building bombs.

Context: for those who don't know, the GMTK is the world's biggest gamejam, hosted on Itch, it lasted 4 days last week. We made a game ("Bomberful!") about serving goofy customers in a bomb shop. I was my team's artist and designed some characters, including diverse cameos 'cause it's fun when you see streamers play and recognize the references. If you give Neuro the turtle bomb (double reference with ASDF movies), she says "tutel" and "filtered" if you refuse. So yeah, here's my art of Neurosama, I mean, this legally-distinct Neurochan character that vaguely looks like her. Hope you like it.

I put legally-distinct Pink as a customer in my bomb-making game for the GMTK gamejam 2026.

Having just beaten Pink in Deltarune Ch5, I felt like she was the perfect customer for our bomb shop (iykyk) XD So here's my art of her, Pink fan rejoice!

Any way for a Xiaomi user to use Shizuku without a SIM card?

Xiaomi Redmi note 7, Android 10, Computer-based activation

Hi, I've been trying to install a 3rd party discord client for hours but Xiaomi makes it completely impossible. After no success with normal means, I've then tried to use Shizuku to do the installation but Xiaomi steps in again and nuh-uh, we limit ADB. I try to turn on "USB debugging (security parameters)" as written in the Shizuku docs, but nuh-uh, you need a Mi account. Of course it's broken so I have to create a Facebook account from which I can create a Mi account. After another hour, I finally find an email address that Xiaomi "supports" and get an account. But then when trying to enable the parameter it says "SIM card not found". WHY DO YOU NEED A SIM CARD

I'm losing my mind, is there any way I can do anything to bypass Xiaomi and make Shizuku work?

Can't install patched apps on my Xiaomi with any 3rd party app manager.

Hi, when I try to install an app, Morphe returns this error. I can just export the app and install it manually by opening the apk. However, I noticed that I had the same issue with all Discord 3rd party apps managers (kettu, revenge, ... managers). They can all patch, but never install (and they don't have export buttons). I figured the problem might be my phone and maybe someone here could help (no one found the issue yet).

I have a Xiaomi Redmi note 7, Android 10. Managers have "install unknown apps" and "storage access" permission enabled (and it works with F-droid for example), battery optimization disabled. All types of restart and cache clear have been tried.

The error displayed for all managers seems to be "permission denied". I have found an Ackpine GitHub issue where my situation is described but it should be fixed and Morphe doesn't seem to be using Ackpine anymore. The error there was actually a session ended error that was displayed as permission denied on Xiaomi devices.

https://github.com/MorpheApp/morphe-manager/issues/449

https://github.com/solrudev/Ackpine/issues/210

Anyone here has ANY IDEA to help me? Any Xiaomi user who had similar troubles or actually none?

Thank you

Confused about updating patched apps

Hi, so, ever since I installed Morphe (our saviour), each time it told me "update available", I downloaded the update but it was stuck on the install screen. Today I finally got around to update it directly from GitHub and it worked. Since i ignored patched app updates for a while, I thought I'd update the apps too. But it doesn't show any "update available" card like I've seen on other people's. [Image 1] So I checked the source but it's weird. [Image 2] The version displays n/a but when I click on it, it shows the logs for the latest version, while the patch number is forever loading. So I manually installed the new patches off GitHub. [Image 3]

So, how do I update patched apps? 'cause I just did so much manually that I don't know what's the normal state it should be in. I'm at [image 4] rn and idk if I should proceed with getting a new apk or if I'm totally off road. (And if there's something to fix about the previous steps, please enlighten me)
