Wisdom tooth infected

Hi,

My wisdom tooth is slightly inflamed under the gum according to my dentist. The dentist does not want to remove the wisdom tooth yet because there is a small infection, and I was told to rinse with peroxide.

Why do dentists sometimes avoid removing a wisdom tooth right away when there is an infection present? And what exactly does peroxide do for an inflammation or infection under the gum?

Thank you in advance!

Fooi geven

Fijne avond

My wisdom teeth looks very weird, and i experience some pain and neck pain and dizzyness for 1 ,5 year, can this cause like floating dizzyness?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this.

I recently got glasses with a very light prescription (+0.5) because I’ve been dealing with a constant “floaty”/dizzy feeling (not spinning, more like being on a boat or slightly off-balance). My optician said my eyes were likely overworking and that the glasses could help.

Now I’m on day 5 of wearing them, and instead of feeling better, things feel a bit worse:

  • distance vision feels slightly off / less sharp
  • more aware of my eyes
  • mild headaches
  • dizziness still there (sometimes feels more noticeable)

It’s not extreme, but just… different and a bit unsettling.

So my question is: 👉 is it normal for things to feel worse or weird in the first days with such a small prescription? 👉 did anyone have dizziness from eye strain that improved after adjusting to glasses? 👉 how long did it take before you noticed real improvement?

I’m trying to stick it out (optician said give it ~3 weeks), but curious if others went through the same phase.

Thanks 🙏

Other causes are already ruled out, so this is my last Checkpoint
